Right we're gonna speed run the end of this, leave the fullbacks open for a while longer and I'll stick this one and the forwards one out together.

Let's have THREE midfield players that impressed you this season, again, don't vote for your own players, these can be defensive mids, centre mids or attacking mids.

Sam Barrett - Maidenhead
David Ajiboye - Sutton
Mauro Vilhete - Dagenham

I don’t believe in defensive midfielders. Going For It.

We need an Isaac Olaofe ruling immediately.

4-3-3 with any type of midfielder/winger in the midfield is a weird way of doing a team of the year, I have to say. Surely in this formation, the wingers go as forwards and should be in the strikers thread?

I'm prepared to let JaredSUFC make the Olaofe ruling if he will, I had him down as a striker but I suppose attacking midfielders/wingers can be pretty fluid these days.

Personally I like to keep the strikers solely to strikers, they play one position, wingers/wide men would be squeezed out in a strikers/forwards vote I think and fuck it it's too late to change.

Haha yeah definitely too late. If you're going with sole strikers though, I'd go 4-4-2, as you could potentially end up with three number 9s and three defensive mids, which is weird. Although, I guess if they are the best six players in those then it's fair?

I get what you're saying, but we're not going for a balanced side, it's just a fast and loose end of season fun, we could end up with three holding midfielders and three target men upfront, it is what it is

Nice to see Kieran Green get some recognition. Nothing too flashy but he works himself to the ground and goes about his business very well.

Those attributes were highlighted particularly in the game at The Shay what with Halifax playing with 9 men for the final half hour. Like you've said, covered a lot of ground, tenacious off the ball and didn't waste possession when on it. He was also excellent in the reverse fixture at Grosvenor Vale.

Terrible. Standards have dropped since we were last down here. The Luton lot would never have stood for this.

Olaofe was primarily a striker and spent most of the season as one. He did play the last few games as a winger (and looked great doing so), but he only was played there as cover for an injury.

They were only down to 9 for ten minutes.

Thomas was really good on that opening day. Good shout.
I was thinking the same, good shout. I won't amend mine or include Tshimanga in the striker thread though as I'm not having two players from that evil club making my team.

That's yer lot, we had a tie with Ajiboye and Lemonheigh-Evans both on three, I let the fates decide at random.org and Ajiboye came out on top, congrats to him.
