That was a much better episode last night i thought, abit more heading to where it was.

Only problem i had was another title change.......too many devalues the belt, X-division seems to change every other week.

but the Lashley face turn is interesting and sets us up with MVP Vs Lashley or Joe Vs Lashley matches, with also Roode Vs young,

matches were all decent enough, and i am looking forward to Kavok Vs Kong which should be an interesting womens match.

for me, everytime Havok and Kong are on my television, they're stealing the show, without even speaking.
BDC are looking very solid, I think MVP will win the title at the UK tour.

Aries getting a world heavyweight title shot is a excellent decision, I have a feeling they'll put the title on him sometime this year, would be great if they set up EC3-Aries at BFG.

Magnus having the Tag briefcase, is a good decision, as his tag team partner is one of my favourites, Bram. They could do win the titles off Abyss/Storm in some kind of hardcore match or they could lose and cause a split and feud between the two.

Rockstar spud getting the X division shot, is alright I guess, I mean he's over and will probably do it in the UK to a big pop.

Velvet obviously got fired because her contract is expiring.

Mark Andrews looked decent in his debut, didn't realise he was as short as spud, but him and spud looked like they could form some kind of high flying tag team. They need to get JB out of this storyline ASAP.

Interesting ending with Roode with the title, interested to see where that goes.

i was unsure with that Impact but it got decent reviews around the net on the whole.

I still think they are trying to re-focus from that spell of no shows, they had a great settled format and seem to have come back trying to fit in far too much again.

the idea of running only 4 PPV is supposed to allow them to not have to shove everything into one show and cram all the detail, but allow some time on matches and better focus on feuds yet the last weeks have been cramming it in.

its still entertaining and I look forward to 2015 being the rise of EC3 who is just the most entertaining wrestler in TNA (not great in ring but who cares really) how WWE let him slip out their company, aah well.

At least new feuds are being formed which is good, in the 3 weeks since started we have:

MVP-Lashley
Young-Roode
Kong-Havok
Wolves-Hardys

it also looks like maybe we might have the slight beginning of a Hardy Vs Hardy feud, and of course should finally see Spudd Vs EC3

they now just need abit of re-focus to x-division the rest they are fine on, tag division is ok, world title is sorted, womens is fine.....just x-division

feel sorry for Tigre Uno though buried like that I hate that type of sh*t

I wish bully Ray all the best and I hope he gets back in WWE.

of any ex-WWE guy he deserves back in the big company as he worked his socks off the last 3-4 years to turn his entire career around, got himself fitter, put in a lot of effort, changed his whole character and adapted himself a role which fitted him perfectly.

sadly Tna cannot afford him anymore but I hope WWE pick him up as he doesn't deserve the wilderness and when somelazy half-bothered lump like RVD can get back in I'd class it a shame to see Bully not back in.

my only worry is WWE will completely ruin him......slate TNA all you wish at times but they were an ideal place for Bully Ray and helped turn his career, I hope that isn't ruined by WWE and they allow him to do the same as he did in TNA.

I said in the PPV thread that hopefully WWE just dumped the Bubba Ray gimmick back on him so that non regular fans would know who he was more easily

next Raw he comes on in street clothes to cut a glad to be back promo, but Luke Harper comes out and confronts him. and with that the Bully Ray character is born in WWE

He should be though.

but hey why bother having an entertaining wrestler and a solid heel who could have some decent feuds when you can just waste afew months with odd cheap pops.

I suspect they'll bring back Devon and have them put over Ascension or the Usos.

and on a positive note for TNA its growing on its new Network, better than expected.

first show got about 350,000 viewers which wasn't bad for a network whose shows do 100-200,000 but was well below what they did and put it into ROH numbers.

but the 2nd show did about 500,000 viewers overall when they added up the first show and replay numbers.

the 3rd show has done 600,000 viewers with both added.

so its slow, but the numbers are growing, while its a shame they have shrunk, the fact that number is growing is a positive when it looked like they had shrunk right down to the level of others.

and the reason i class replay numbers before anyone asks is they do it strange on Dest america, main show is 9pm-11pm then replay 11pm-1am so it'll be new viewers than same ones.

Commentary team is much better than it used to be, I like Tenay but i think he'd just gone stale and it needed a change, I don't know yet if Matthews is any good because we've had no real main matches or moments to see how he commentates but its gone ok so far.

it is very strange though to see them just sitting backstage commentating live instead of in the arena, but its working ok so far, but again i need to see it when we have a big feud moment or promo and see if it murders that or not.

backstage stuff hasn't taken over the show and i'm glad its not as OTT as i expected, but i'd like to just see them slow things up a little, let some matches have more time and focus on one-two feuds a week and not 5-6.

Well i had a sneak read when i heard that news and is another debut also at these tapings, one which is a good one for TNA.

Mickie James

I'd say when you look at the division, This Knockouts division right now is probably the strongest ever womens division in the history of wrestling.

especially when TNA actually allow them to wrestle......its got the power female wrestlers and the genuine talented female wrestlers all in a group.

Enjoyed the Impact tapings last night in Manchester, couple of things hopefully will come across on TV well. Also a botch during the tapings, think that'll be took out of the episode.

That is good, glad you enjoyed i see afew are saying it was one of the best shows over in the UK which is nice to hear. Looks like htye got the usual Manchester crowd which i am surprised at as i expected a big drop in crowd due to all the bigger names being gone.

And i think Big Bird tonight gets Lashley Vs Angle for the World title, an Ultimate X match, Eric Young Vs Bobby Roode and EC3 Vs Spudd

although i think EC3 Vs SPudd may be abit of a sham match as i thought EC3 was currently injured and being protected in Tag/6-man matches.

The tapings certainly look good as well for tonight. I can't believe that they're going from UK back to the Impact zone, I mean, surely theres somewhere else they can tape from, The crowd are not into the shows at all, which brings the level of the show down.

Maybe Thats why he stayed with tna and signed?
Also with Lashley apparently injured, could be why the title changed hands. Aries to win the title back off him
Good for spud too!

Right, Just caught up with the latest episode.
First off, I can't wait for EC3 to get over his injury, 2015 could be his year to gain the title.
I really like Mark Andrews, absolutely great addition to the X division, and him and spud work well as a team, which is also good.
What I don't get is, its team angle against the BDC, and what? nothings on the line? it doesn't matter who wins or loses, who cares really.
Next week is The Tag match, which the Rev will win, because of Jeff can't come to the UK.
No Kong or Havok this week, which is annoying, this could of been built up way more, not being funny but they could of done a proper PPV with lockdown.
The matches are off good quality so far this year, however feel that the storylines can be some what lacking, but could be just my opinion.

Looking forward to Lockdown next week though, then itsthe uk tapings after that, which is always exciting viewing.

I'm miles behind at present.

seen the show, it was another good, if abit directionless show..............a problem with TNA at present.

I just think they've not known how to re-set the product from the gap in time they had without a show, its a case of trying to carry on, yet start lots of new feuds all at same time and its needing to slow down abit to push forward, in a way the UK tapings are good because they will only use a small number of wrestlers thus focus on 3-4 feuds properly.

I like Lockdown, its a shame its not a PPV, but is it a 3 hour Impact next week??? show looks good on paper, but lack of build on all matches, but if I was fair to TNA they had to rush it all into 4 weeks of shows.

I think they should have done lockdown at London and built it over this period, Glasgow and Manchester.

Beat down after beat down is so stupid, If you have the Revolution why have BDC?
GRADO was so over with the Glasgow crowd.
Think Bram is the greatest creation in years and years, please push this guy to the fucking moon.
Was expecting Drew Galloway to debut but he never, left me rather confused.
This Gauntlet has my interest, and has been built fairly ok over the last few weeks.

No, WWE won't pick him up, probably go back to ROH.
He'll go off tele after the uk tour, which means someone will probably take his place in the BDC. Mason Ryan had a try out match before one of the ONO Tapings, maybe he will join as the muscle.
