Maybe once you had survived a while you would get better at fighting and avoiding the zombies. The zombies have decayed a lot as well so they might not be able to run for that reason. Also, I wonder if a load of them are trapped, stuck in a loop or have wandered into the sea.

As for the outbreak, I could imagine that happening. People would be trying to get their families and find resources so the opening phase would be mayhem.

Negans lines are getting better each episode, like when he took Lucille back off Rick and said to him "In case you haven't caught on yet, I just slipped my dick down your throat and you thanked me for it".

Personally I think it's going beyond silly now. Negans character is a bit of a joke really. I just don't buy into this group he's got where he rules by fear even over his own. It's not plausible that someone in his own camp hasn't blown his head off by now let alone someone else outside his group. At least the Governor put on a front for the people of his town and was a c*** behind the scenes. If you're openly a c*** running a c*** society then at least one of those c*** is going to c*** you right in the c***.
I think the whole lay down and take it shit is ridiculous too. Alexandria had enough people in with enough weaponry to take down Negan and his group if they had just prepared for his arrival. Ok, he came earlier than expected, but who wouldn't actually expect that? You just drum up an armoured fucking wall, get a load of molotov cocktails ready, tool up, let the c*** in the gates and then bam, bombard the fuckers, end of problem.
I know you've always got to suspend your sense of disbelief, but it's taking the piss now.

I thought that in the last episode. ^ When he's walking up to the gates, pop him off there. The writers have made it that he has such a hold over his group that they'd be shit without their leader.

I think this show is officially shit now.

It has some good actors in it but the writing and production values are poor and there are too many new characters coming in now that it takes up whole episodes to feature them.

Or Alexandria people, or the Kingdom people. They are all a bunch of soppy arse fannies, so no wonder Negan can do what the hell he likes. And are those gates at Hilltop ever shut or they just leave them open all day with nobody manning the place? Every time the action is up there there's a shitload of walkers pouring through the OPEN gates.

Each episode since we met Negan has been filler. Would anyone care if Sasha, Gabriel, Eugene, Enid or any of those left over from Alexandria were killed?

The only ones I care about are Rick, Carl, Carol, Michonne, Daryl and Maggie. But I'm not even that interested in Carl, Carol, Michonne or Maggie.

I suspect they do given that it follows the story the comics have already laid out for it.

Ok this show really is getting beyond shit now.

Its gone from a really good TV show to some cheap, lame, poorly written and ill structured show you'd get on the horror channel on freeview.

A whole episode dedicated to Tara who is a side character and it shows us another community with poor characters and story to try and remember.

He wasn't in the episode but ive also got to say that Negan is too goofy and more like a cartoon character than a menacing tough arse villain like he is in the comics.

Oh well.

Whilst this season is feeling very disjointed and a little slow with the new communities and characters it's telling a story, it's creating threads for future scenes, what good would future conflict be without knowing peoples deep motivation for conflict.

I actually like Tara so was pretty happy with the episode, she seems to be widely disliked but brings a bit of light relief to an otherwise shite situation, they copped out by not giving her a proper emotional ending last night like, considering she found out she'd lost three people close to her, I've got faith it'll pick back up.

I think that they are dragging the show out too much with all these filler episodes and I don't know if they have cut their budget but the show has been very poor lately. It's becoming more and more of a farce.

I'm thinking this season would probably be best watched in one or two sittings rather than on a weekly basis. Trouble is there's so many spoilers posted about the interwebz that you'd probably already know what was happening before you got round to watching it.
I thought this weeks filler was better than the previous few we had though. But still, not much happened other than providing another place to bring into the fold for the fight against the saviours. Which I still find kind of ridiculous.
