Yes but you cannot name a person or company that this so called 200m was owed to
Read your clubs accounts. Published by your club on its own website. Up until 2017 anyway.

Bolton’s debts were eye watering and there is literally no way a positive spin can be put on it. It was terrible they got themselves into that mess. I don’t blame Masi or any fans though I guess we would all enjoy the ride blissfully unaware and they have suffered nearly losing their club, seasons of failure and losing week in week out and now find themselves well below their natural level with little realistic signs of getting back close to the second tier at the moment. Portsmouth were the same and they’ve been rattling around the bottom two tiers for what a decade now nearly.

It always grates me that I suffered Vale going into administration twice and neither time for actually over spending on the pitch! It’s not like we got to enjoy the good times first before it went tits up! First time was partly down to the collapse of ITV digital are whatever it was added into the Lorne Street stand costs spiralling when mine shafts were discovered underneath and needed sorting.

The second was down to us starving them out to save the club long term and unpaid shares by “investors” (believe legal action is still ongoing).

Had Smurf followed through with his threat we’d have done a hatrick but we made shit loads of money that year with the Hugill sell on, Grant, Alnwick and cup ties so again down to ownership! We rarely saw any investment in the team!

who sanctioned that contract? answer Eddie Davies....Who paid the contract Eddie Davies
Who was living in a fantasy world that had you as one of the top clubs in England. Dont throw the longevity as a league club argument out there either. Theres a woman who lives near me who was born on the same day as the Queen but nobody bows or curtsies to her.

yes that explains that Eddie Davies owed Eddie Davies a whole lot of money
Debt is debt. If it is meaningless just because it was owed to Davies why did you nearly go bust and why are you in the bargain basement?

How many local companies did you screw over when you went into admin and they probably got 10p in the pound? Did FGR get their £600,000 you screwed them for Doidge?

Your whole tenure in the PL was a sham, an illusion, a financially dodgy club. You’re not the only one, mind. It’s ruined a whole host of clubs.

Living beyond your means.
Says it all in there...but you dont understand basic economics,,,,,,Get your Abicas out move all the beads to one side now,
Eddie buys a football club for one bead, he invests two beads of his own money in and charges one bead interest,
Repeat over 10 years until he has run out of beads. The football club by now owes him 18 beads...He has had a few beads off them in interest so he knows he will never get all 18 beads back so he rights 17 beads off
leaving 1 bead in debt to the new owners.
The new owners buy the club and dont have any beads so they have to go into administration
Moral of the story buy a fucking calculator !!

so, would you rather Davies had never bought your club, had never got you to the PL or do you think all the subsequent shit was well worth it.

The club was put into administration by both Moonshift [Eddie Davies estate. And Ken Anderson
All football creditors received 100% and non football creditors received 35%......as FGR rovers were a football debt yes they received all monies in full........as usual it was one man business men that suffered

Good question. Every club who have been succsessful have been bankrolled. Eddie Davies put plenty into our club, but he sure as hell had plenty out.
Think we were paying Gartside 750k a year over 15 years ago crazy. The three Davies,Gartside and Allardyce certainly lived the dream

Because by this stage we had new owners Eddie Davies had passed. Dean Holdsworth and Ken Anderson had bought the club. Holdsworth was discarded after a month. Ken Anderson was a former director of Southampton but was barred from holding directorships for a period of time. EFL passed him fit and proper. He could not,or would not pay FGR money owed to them in the January, in fact nobody got money hence why we went into administration.
As a football creditor FGR got all monies when our new owners FV took over last season

FGR guys is this true, I thought you got shafted over the Doidge deal?

if you did not repay 100% of of football creditors you would not get your ticket from the EFL.

We definitely have a decent squad, although it’s lacking pace, we need Maynard to start scoring. He looks very unfortunate to have his goal disallowed on Saturday to be fair.

Tight, but was probably onside tbh.

Hmmm, not sure if that's right. Are FGR a plc? Would be interesting to see their accounts. That deal was dodgy as fuck. Bolton essentially got half a season try-before-you-buy out of FGR for that. Stitched up FGR's chances of promotion and fucked over Doidge's chance of career progession.

Which defending player are you looking at here? The one man wall is surely playing the attackers on? Look at the change in colour of the pitch. Comfortably a step into the lighter green with the Mansfield players on the edge of the box.

Good point. Clearly onside in that case. Maynard was unlucky.

We were shafted by Anderson, affected both our promotion chances and contributed to a heavy loss that season.

That being said Bolton's new owners did reach an out of court settlement with us last December. Bolton & Forest Green agree Doidge deal

Did you sit in a corner wringing your hands and warning everybody how it was all built on sand. I doubt it.

That is the complete opposite of what you said in the last post you made. If all football creditors received 100% then Doidge was your player. If you didn't pay the remaining money owed then all football creditors were not paid in full. Make your mind up.
