Hmm, my multi quote wouldn't work. Oh well.

SVH said he would take a point in the Crawley v Cambridge game. So would I. Yourselves and Newport have started really well while we are playing well in patches and bloody bad in parts.

Without looking at the stats I feel that Cambridge are a side we tend to struggle against. Not saying we never win just its never easy.

Nadesan may be back fit but will probably have to make do with a place on the bench as Watters has started his pro footballer career like a train (played a part in 5 games and scored 5 goals).

Other than that I would expect the same matchday squad as Tuesday. Probably Ashford dropping off the bench for Nadesan...it should be Galach but he sits on the bench to allow us to have it full. The "must have a player who has been at the club since his 18th birthday" thing.

We’ve had an excellent start, but I think tomorrow we’ll come unstuck. Exeter always seem to beat us. But they look a more settled squad than us and despite our good start I still don’t think certain players are playing anywhere near their best and we would have to be at our best tomorrow to get the points, not just good for half an hour like we have been in some games.

I’d take a point, but I’m going for a 3-1 Exeter win.

Mods; we need to ban Chipmunx from the forum.

He used the "D" word !

:)

They are closest we've ever had to a real rivalry. Over a hundred years with no real enemies. Rather sad.

Excuse after excuse 90% of you call me and Devonlad, but the is only us two that are positive.....come on back your team
LOL you've been in the bottom half of League 2 for about a month or two. Come back when you've accumulatively clocked up about ten years like half of the people on this forum have.

We haven't been playing well at all recently, and our points total from those games has been pretty generous.

Don’t you have a long-standing feud with Heathrow?

Can’t wait to see the 11th best London team play the Premier League Galacticos from the 7th best Manc team.

You've forgotten about little old Crawley haven't you? I know you put south west but thought I'd point out how far away we are from you.

The distances according to Google maps are 328 to 327 miles. Crawley is 1 whole mile further away from Barrow than Exeter.

You see you are a typical cockney....Everything evolves around that 15 mile radius of the Bow Bells

We have never been or ever will be part of Manchester......Just because a jumped up twerp in London thought it was a good idea in 1974.

We are in Lancashire my owd sparra

”The hammer“ aka Cole Stockton returns to Prenton park on Saturday. No doubt he’ll be hoping to rub more salt into our wounds. Hope he puts his boots on the wrong feet like he did so often during his last spell with us.

Another game of Holloway bingo tomorrow as we continue to be the only side who have been affected by Covid-19 which means we cannot possibly keep the same XI.

We have some very good players in our squad but they’re surrounded by some absolute shite and unfortunately the shite seem to be playing more than the good players.

We always seem to do pretty well at Whaddon Road, was probably our best performance of last season just before the wheels fell off. We're not fluent atm but we're grinding out results, can certainly see us getting at least a point which would cement what's been a good start.

Seems that Ebou Adams will be out, which will be a miss although in games like this he can be a bit of a liability with the way he winds people up.

Masi51; what have Bow Bells got to do with Crawley? Were 35 miles south of the stink.

I was born within the sound of them but I moved ages ago....come to think of it I'm not sure if Leyton is within the sound of them or not.

Typical Northerner. Flat cap and clogs on t'Whippet. Always moaning about trouble down t'mill (In trouble if my Chesterfield bred wife reads that).

I know what you mean by that but you know, we've hardly ever played teams from that area. We've probably played more teams from the Birmingham area than Heathrow. Strange really.

That's true, we played you in the Southern League back in the day, think you tended to play in that rather then the Ryman League?

Just randomly picked out a season from a while ago (97/98) to see how many Midlands teams were there and if we count FGR and Gloucester it's 11.

By the way FGR won the Southern League that year in black & white stripes!

You quoted a post about Crawley in that reply. I will presume it was an error.

By that logic, Leyton is in Essex and you can change your embarrassing schtick to some stereotypes about the delightful denizens from that county.

On the plus side, your indignant mewling has led me to the discovery that you have finally climbed above crisis club Oldham and you are actually the sixth best Manc club. Well done.

Is this another of your bullshit Bolton facts?

The biggest town in England by population is Northampton - or Huddersfield if you count the whole Borough.

Thanks.

I think they did but went bust around 1935.

They reformed and went bust in 2009 (ish) and have now reformed again.

Nah, he got you with the bit about the red rose. They are probably the only club with a red rose on their club badge.
