Inspired by Cas' thread obviously!

Anyone who doesnt mute their Kinect when they're playing online when they're not actually using it. Even more fun when they're babbling away in a forieign language so you cant even tell them to STFU.

Trash talkers definitely.

Also games being released when they aren't ready, necessitating a wave of patches to make the thing work.

Right now, the thing I'm hating in games is having too many side quests and shit.

It's probably because I'm trying to work my way through Far Cry 4 and DA: Inquisition, and finished Batman recently... three games that are quite open world and have a shit ton of side quests and things to be getting on with along side the main story. And before that lot, the game I completed was Assassins Creed Unity, which does the same. And as a result it's felt as if I'm swimming around in too much god damn content over the last few months ... I do yearn for a game that's just got a basic story again.

When you're at a crucial part of the game and you get a glitch or your computer screen freezes. Very annoying.

I got the achievement at last yesterday on fifa 13 for winning a league title in seasons. 2 years ago, I was a point away from getting it in my last game, and at 4-1 up in stoppage time, I'd done it at last. The utter wanker I was playing quit out, and whereas usually I would be awarded the win anyway, it glitched and just started the new season...I've never quite had fifa rage quite like that day...

Same situation yesterday. Needed 3 points from my last 2 games, went 3-0 up late on, wanker quits. All ready for fifa rage mark 2...and thankfully the game didn't glitch this time, awarded me the win and the League title...aaaaaaah...

I'll add to the thread while I'm ranting...anyone who quits a game on fifa because they're losing. I've took some real hammerings online over the years but it's tough, see it out.

Was round my mates a while ago, and he was playing Fifa before we went out, started losing 3-0 and just unplugged his PS3.
Started to question my friendship to him that night

I remember years ago when i used to play Tomb Raider on the PS1/PS2 and i got really far into the game( can't remember which one) and the memory card gets corrupted. All that hard work and many hours spent on the game and beating the bosses for nothing.

Any game where the main character has funny coloured hair, or wields a ridiculously impractical sized sword.

Sort your hair out, and use something normal. Oh and games where every character is ridiculously good looking, nothing pulls you out of a game than everyone looking like they've spent half their day getting pampered.

So basically you want an ugly protagonist with a practical sized sword (something Freudian in this somewhere) and brown hair?

Practical sword, normal hair. I'm fine with a good looking protagonist, but not Barbie or Kenn doll good looking.

Other people, liked Skyrim? would you like Skyrim but with hundreds of other people running about jumping every 4th step?…no I wouldn't, tough, here it is!

seriously I hate the move towards multiplayer or co-op when it's needless, if every game could offer me it as good as Left4dead or Borderlands then I wouldn't mind, but so much of it seems tacked on. Dying light in particular was determined that I should be buddying up, leave me to my anti social ways for fuck sake!

Opposing the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre!!!!
I've said this before and I know it will incur the wrath of Stevie Cc and others because I'm gonna cite MGS as an example. It's ridiculous voices of characters in games. YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU HAYTER!!!.
Ok I get it that it would sound incongruous to have a camp man singlehandedly ridding the world of terrorists but why do we have to have humourless miserable c*** doing it? Well I say humourless, but the likes of Sam Fisher and Snake do attempt humour but when it's delivered in a flat, monotone grunt the effect is lost.
There, I've said what needed to be said and will await the inevitable opprobrium.

I think Sam Fisher is more because he is in turmoil over his situation, however I get what you mean yeah. There is a reason that James Bond is such a popular character.

The main characters from dying light and Far cry 3 and 4 might as well all be the same person/charcter.

I liked the character development of Jason Brody. He starts off being a gibbering wreck and ends up being a hard man without the stupid voice
