Especially as 'banter' apparently means 'mindless abuse' to some people.

He has a very small mouth doesn't he - also the most hirsute hands I've ever seen.

Homophobia in football and, in particular, Clarke Carlisles comments in the independent about his homophobic abuse of Wade Elliot because of how he looked.

And this comment: “But when homophobic abuse is targeted at one individual, it is horrendous... Calling him gay when he wasn’t.”

You're missing the fuxking point here Clarke. 1) Homophobic abuse is not OK when its targeted at more than one person, it is always horrendous. 2) Even if he was gay it would not be ok to abuse him.

And I thought he was meant to be an educates footballer.

He's like Joey Barton in that he thinks he's more intellectual than he really is. He's nothing but a narcisstic knob.

Really shitty parents, heard an argument outside my house earlier on between a dad and his young daughter:

"shut up you fucking rat or go and live with your mother"
"I will, I want to"
"what, your slut of a mother that beats you!?"

Poor kid

Some people shouldn't have the right to have kids, whilst other who'd make great parents struggle to conceive, life eh!?!

its a fucked up lottery sometimes. My wife is a teacher who works closely with child protection, some of the cases she tells me about ( obviously no names ) make me equally want to weep and smash some fuckers teeth down their throat . I didn't have a great childhood but some of these kids lives make my family look like the waltons .

It's upsetting to consider how far behind we are with true LGBT acceptance, but it's hardly more stark than in football. I can be sure that homophobic comments are still rife in dressing rooms nationwide as they certainly are on the terraces. Looking at that recent study that assessed European countries by their level of LGBT acceptance and seeing us come out top with 86% on their scale, it's something to be truly proud of, but considering how much crap folk still get for being queer in most spheres of British life it depresses me how much harder it must be almost everywhere else. I'm very glad we've progressed so much over each of the last five or so decades, but shit, we're still forcing so many people into avoiding certain places and hiding their true selves with our attitudes.

Apple and the shear frustration of transferring ITunes library's.

My old computers buggered and deleted my ITunes before I could get a full back up done. So transferring stuff from my IPod to laptop, been at it 2hours now using iExplorer but unless I pay for it I have to wait 1minute between every 10songs. I have 824 to transfer.

Maybe hate is a bit strong but personalised number plates. Why do people spend all that money to let the world know they're a TW4T? The worst ones are those who have spent more on the plate than the car.

I don't really get the idea behind the vast majority of them though as most of them spell nothing out and only have a meaning to the person who bought the plate, which seems a bit pointless to me.

My sanction ended Friday 15th which was also my sign on day. Expected to get some money today as usual but I checked my bank earlier and I had £1.69 in. Phoned them up and they said as my sanction ended the day of my sign on I had to wait until my next sign on date to release my next payment. So that's another 14 days of having nothing. Close to 7 weeks without money. Fucking c***.

Spot on. I don't really mind famous people having them, as it generally means the plate is on a nice car. But I know a few people with on bog standard cars.

If you don't mind me asking what did you get sanctioned for? I'm on disability benefit after 34 years of hard graft destroyed my knees and shoulders and dread getting sanctioned, the job centres seem to hand them out for nothing as they have targets for it, believe me i know as my ex works in one and she hates giving them to people but if she doesn't hit her target she gets a disciplinary bollocking.

I was sanctioned for not attending an appointment that I was never made aware of. No phonecall, no letter. I told them this and they said my decision for not attending wasn't good enough so they stopped my money for 4 weeks. This was a month ago. And now I've found out today that I'll be without any money for the next two weeks too. Great, eh?

That's shit mate, did you use the CAB for free legal advice? There are over 650,000 people sanctioned at the moment and are not included in the unemployment figures so it's all a f*cking con.I'll try and find some numbers of people who help with challenging sanctions and will message them to you in case this happens to you again, best of luck.

The other thing some people do not know is that people on the Work Programme are not included in the unemployment figures either.
