my mams cat managed to swallow one of them foam ear plugs years ago. we knew something was up when she had a shit out of her mouth on the living room carpet in front of us. came home from the vets after the operation with a hole in her stomach and you could see her insides. proper grim. love that cat me.

I'm not sure about the cone yet mate - he's staying in overnight and hopefully coming home tomorrow. We've been desperate for him to have a shit for days now but I hope if and when it does happen that it comes out of the right end!

The vet reckons the main danger will be the risk of infection so we'll have to keep an eye out for that.
