That CGI building they've done across the way seems so realistic.

I think they're offices or something. See a bunch of them chill on the roof last weekend drinking up.

Weddings. Had a belting time being best man yesterday and then met a rather delightful young lady to top things off. Lovely stuff.

You can't beat a wedding night shag. It's even better if you're not the groom.

I purchased a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 20 earphones this week. Fuck me, they're good. The noise cancellation is 10 times better than anything I've ever had before. Bloody expensive but perfect for me who hates external noise.

Could have bought yourself a pair of Shure SE425 for that price. They're the absolute nuts.

Had two pairs of Shure and both have broken (sound just stopped in one bud and the cable frayed). Great earphones mind.

*extremely Pagnell voice* I have a pair of Shure SE215s. Stay comfortable in my ears for several hours, hifi quality sounds, nice wire. They do lose volume after a while and are still prone to dying out in one ear though. When I find a good pair of headphones that don't do that, I'll stick to them instead. For now though, I've got a three-year warranty on these and hope the company I bought them off won't go bust in that time...

New Shures come with removable cables so easily replaced for a small amount. Although I have an old pair with non-removable calls that are still going after 6 years. Luck of the draw I guess.

I had a pair of them and they were quality but one bud did die. It was under warranty though.

I'm rubbish at looking after things so I only have myself to blame but they did seem very fragile and two pairs broke within a year of purchase.

Correct yeah. But the audio on these things tends to wane in volume over time, ie. the fidelity may remain class, but without noticing the gradual decline over the course of a year, you'll find half the music on your iPod cannot even reach a satisfactory level when the volume bar is full. So I wasn't sure whether that'd be a problem with the 'phone buds or the wire.

Yeah this continually happens to mine. I don't put them away in their pouch and am skeptical to how much that does, but keep them neatly wrapped around my iPod in my pocket/similar. Don't think I abuse them. Key thing to me is getting some that will last maybe nine months, and get four/five of them over the course of time by buying them under a three-year warranty. Then y'know, £80 or so for as good a pair as I'd ever want over the course of three years is OK by me.

Not noticed this. But then I don't use an iPod/iPhone, the DACs in them (and therefore quality) and the volume have always been poor. I use my Galaxy S7 Edge with Viper4Android, with my setup the volume at less than half is almost painfully loud.

32GB though! I'm a stickler for storage and as much as most people don't have absurdly large music collections, it troubles me that you coulda bought a Creative Zen with that kind of storage all of 10 years ago.

32gb internal and a 128gb card. 160gb is enough for pretty much anything.

Clever that chief, didn't think they did that sort of thing.

Happy with what I've got. (Until it breaks.)
