Tabasco is bollocks, not spicy enough at all and doesn't taste all that nice either. Melinda's Naga hot sauce is the one to have on meals like beans on toast to spice it up a bit. Hottest sauce I've had although there are milder ones in the same range depending on how hot you like things which taste equally good.

Yeah, just had to have a swag of milk. Got a bit of stomach ache as well, don't know if it's related but I did just pour about a pound of ice into my stomach.

Tabasco isn't hot but I don't agree at all with your opinion of it's taste, I quite like it and it goes fantastic with beans. Tabasco also do a habanero variant which is quite nice.

Personally I prioritise heat over taste, although that's irrelevant with Tabasco when I like neither aspect. It probably doesn't help that in order to get sufficient heat from it I have to put quite a bit on which won't help the taste. I wouldn't go for anything other than Naga sauce now, I like the taste a lot more and it's about 30 times hotter than Tabasco IIRC. Again though, probably comes down to how much you care about spiciness.

It is strange though how musical tastes change over the years. A decade ago I would never have listened to folk music or Johnny Cash and now I listen to both - same with jazz.
