Bitty game this. Lots of niggly fouls. Lincoln working so so hard as we’ve had all the ball. They must start to tire soon surely.
A few have said that this season but we generally don't. Our fitness levels are much better than the shambles of last season.

Omg we’ve scored a set piece!
The irony from last night was that we have one of the best records at defending set pieces in L1 yet concede from one, and have one of the worst from scoring from set pieces...and scored from one!

Thought it was a weird opening 15/20 minutes of the second half last night, Evatt seemed to want Bolton to inject some non-league style shithousery to the game. There was tonnes going on, off the ball and on the benches.

Bolton didn't do enough with all their possession, only one(?) shot on target in the game. Decent point given how the game panned out and a better performance than Boxing Day.

It looks as though Warne has finally put his stamp on the team, unbeaten in 14 and only one goal conceded in the last 6 games. Defensively we have been excellent, which considering the personnel there, is staggering. Forsyth, a left wing converted left back, playing now at centre half. Korey Smith, a central midfield player playing right back. Sibley, an attacking midfielder, playing left back. All performing really well. Cashin, who has been outstanding all season, really continues to impress at every opportunity.

We do have a bit of movement in January which should help, but honestly the squad is getting to a good level of fitness and health as it stands. It would be a huge boost if we’re able to bring Bielik back!

So boring to watch Bolton, since Fossey got injured last season we have been dull as fuck. Most of the strikers he has brought to Bolton need about 5 chances to hit one on target and we have not played well since September. How we missed the chances in the last minutes . think it was a Bakayoko header then a Kachunga miss I will never know, Easy chances made to look difficult by incompetence, Charles is an awful finisher as well

Tbf we reacted because you were kicking lumps out of us in the first half. That was obviously your game plan to try and knock us off our game and it worked to some extent. You definitely wanted it more than us in the first half but we were keeping possession and frustrating you. We didn’t really do much with it but you could see how frustrated your players were getting chasing the ball. We came out in the second half prepared to meet fire with fire. But by then the ref had lost control of the game and I had no idea what he was going to give. He was making it up as he went along.

He defo was. Sub crazy decisions. A clear cross deflected behind by our defender and a goal kick given. Some really heavy challenges early stages of 2nd hald by your players, and free kick given to you.

A good point none the less

The second half just felt like Evatt wanted to turn it into a niggly game and I'm not sure that was really what you lot needed. I doubt you were frustrating us as such, we're set up not to have the ball and most of our wins this season have come about by having 30-40% possession.

Agree on the ref, though. And he was a Championship one I think!

It didn't take too long for Luke Leahy's red card against Cheltenham on Thursday to be recinded. Nobody knew in the ground what the ref saw at the time, yet he somehow missed Raglan's lunge. 11 v 10 for the last 20 minutes and it could well have been a different result.

2nd time this season we've had a red card recinded after Flanagan's against Accrington, and also on the receiving end when a Bristol Rovers player was given a retrospective red card earlier in the season. Hopefully these referees are held to account.

Afolayan has been charged with violent misconduct, which is from the corner that led to Bolton's equaliser. Seen the footage and he can't have any complaints over it, he's swung an elbow at Sorenson.

Shocking elbow and could have done some real damage to Sorensen. Bloke was a WUM all game, giving it to the crowd and feigning injury.

Oh really? He was defo getting a lot of abuse from the coop stand in the 2nd half after his antics.

A very lucky boy not to get sent off for it. He’s a bit of a petulant child at times, needs to cut it out but not sure he’ll ever change.
