Tommy Gemmell RIP

Died earlier today at 73. Scored one of the goals in the '67 European Cup Final that enabled Celtic to become the first British club to win old big ears. Also went on to manage Dundee, get them promoted and was manager when they won their last bit of silverware with the League Cup back in '74.

One of our greats. RIP.

Scotland really was a force in european football in the late 60's and early 70's. Those were the days.

Even into the eighties there wasn't a huge gap between Scotland and Europe really. How times change.
