Us and Lincoln have both taken 23 pts from the last 9, whilst FGR have taken 14.

Looking at table it'll take something outrageous for anyone below Dagenham to get playoffs.

Impressive from Lincoln and Tranmere. Mid way point of the season.

All to play for!

Eastleigh looked atrocious. Ngala had a shocker, kept slicing it out of play and was far too cumbersome to match Odubade. I think they created about 3 decent chances and brought a handful more supporters. Pathetic. We looked good though!

Need to build on Saturdays result, Gozie Ugwu playing brilliantly at the moment, high on confidence, gonna go 2-1 to us, Ugwu and Saraiva with the goals.

I'm a bloody magician :cool1:

Cracking win again, Fabio Saraiva with another 30 yard beauty, 3 wins out of 4.

Death by injuries part 637. Now Hawkins is injured.

Sigh.

A massive 1300 home fans cheering them on tonight. FGR fans can legitimately take the piss
Do you mind, you're 92 short there. :bg:

Piss poor crowd really, but it was bloody freezing, North Ferriby in opposition (who brought six fans) and our third home game in a week pretty much. Anyway, we're up to eighth after a routine win, Richards and Alabi with two grabbing the goals.

If that was fgr fans making excuses about attendances we'd get jumped on!

How's your luck top scorer now injured. Torquay deserved it we were poor yet again and have been for well over month now.

Less than 1000 home fans, that £200k deficit is getting bigger by the day.

What an absolute awful game,2 dreadful teams and York are serious relegation candidates?
Only consolation Mills has just informed us John Parkin is resigning and money available for new players after the shower of shit McNamara signed.

Well we moved above Mr Moore's ££££££££ team tonight after hammering them on Saturday.
Pretty pleased about that. Ronnie is not fit to lace Macca's boots.

Strange game really, started off with Lincoln in total domination. Rhead missed a penalty (was a definite spot kick), looked like it made little difference as we continued applying pressure before Whitehouse got the goal. I only saw the very end of the tackle but Raggett looked like he left his studs in on the Wrexham player. I could tell the ref was going to give him a red which then totally changed the game. Howe came on to give us two CH's sacrificing Hawkridge. We started to concede a lot more possession as Wrexham moved the ball about trying to exploit the man advantage.

Second half it was mostly Wrexham keeping the ball and attacking but some heroic defending somehow managed to keep them out. It seemed like a very long second half. If Raggett did go through the Wrexham player, deserving of the red, he needs to buy his team mates a few pints for getting him out of jail with the never say die backs to wall attitude we showed.

We would never have won that game last season, probably even have lost it but this Lincoln is made of stern stuff. A bit disappointed in the attendance but all gates seemed to be down on a bitterly cold night. They made up for it in noise though, the crowd were simply fantastic, loudest of the season so far for me. Such celebrations on and off the pitch at the end after a real gritty 3 points which could be vital come the end of the season.

Another great result. Absolute wonder strike from Fabio Saraiva to win it. Goal of the season wrapped up. That's now nine points from 12.

Ugwu put us ahead with his ninth goal in six games. Then we conceded a penalty and Turgott scored.

We had the better chances in the second half - I don't think Bromley had a shot on target. It looked like the game was heading for a draw until Saraiva's brilliant goal. Well worth braving the -2°c temperature. Get in.

If we can get a result on Saturday against Dagenham we're well in the mix with a game in hand. We then beat Forest Green to take our second 6 points of the season.

We're going up as f***ing champions

Going to get a nose bleed being 8th; two great results after the terrible 2nd half v southport.

Its just too easy isn't it!

Gateshead were the last team to beat Tranmere in the league, so its nice to go up there and take 3 points off them.

I thought York worked incredibly hard last night, constant pressing and harrassing when we had the ball which wasn't often as we had no time on the ball and kept giving it away.
Our full back seemed to get flattened in the build up to Yorks goal but i was too far away to judge. Great strike but with the full back on his back he had time to pick his spot. I think that was the only decent chance York had all game.
Guiseley not much better, Preston had a good strike palmed away from the bottom corner, Cassidy had a header cleared off the line by a defender with the keeper beaten then fired home from close range late on.
A draw probably a fair result on a bloody cold night.

Since FGR beat us 2-1 on 3rd September the only team to better us were Lincoln who beat us 5-2 at ours a month ago and their 4th and 5th were scored as we pressed for an equaliser. If there were a league based on budgets I think we would top it.

Two absolutely wretched teams. I thought we just about edged it and deserved to be ahead until the last 20 minutes or so when we shat ourselves and ended up sitting deeper and deeper until the inevitable happened. This exact same scenario has been repeated a sickening number of times since we shipped a 93rd minute equaliser at Prenton Park on the first day of the 2014/15 season. Four different managers and about 800 different players haven't changed it.

I wouldn't have been surprised if we'd gone on to lose but 1-1 was probably fair in the end. We look in desperate, desperate trouble but that won't be news to anyone who has seen us this season (unless you happen to be Woking or Solihull fans).
