The Port Vale predictions being in bottom 4 are truly bizarre.

The Cheltenham poster above is clearly under the influence of some hard hitting drugs.

No Cheltenham in the bottom 4? They'll 100% be dropping down, but I get your bias being a supporter. But no Derby or Sheffield Wednesday in the top 6 is mental, as is your prediction Pl*mouth will be anywhere near the top 6. Rovers will be top half, and we're nailed on a top 2 spot now we've secured Jamal with a striker comining in imminently.

More chance of Exeter making the top 6 than Derby.

Mid-table beckons for them.

I disagree, Derby's signings are aged sure but they're of a different standard to what we usually see at this level and if they keep most of the youngsters they'll have a decent enough blend, though they'll need another rebuild in a year or two.

same drugs as last year. I could never be 100% like yourself but we never even flirted with relegation last year and I expect more of the same. You clearly don't know this league, but why would you?
I clearly do know the league - Hence why my predictions doesn't include Derby & Sheffield Wednesday outside the top 6, and you evidently haven't a scooby about this league or Port Vale and Rovers if you think they will even be close to the drop. Smokin' some smelly stuff. Your team looks atrocious this year. Both Rovers & Vale are less likely with the bookies to go down than you. Lolz.

Derby are going straight up via the Play Offs. No ifs, no buts. Exeter (c) Sheffield Wednesday (p) Derby (PO W) - Commiserations to a down heartened Ipswich that got pipped at the post at Wembley.

Total WUM but, to be fair, us lot up in Shrewsbury do like Exeter as they have, as the opposition , given us a couple of our greatest days, Promotion to the Championship in the 70s and our great escape from the bottom of L2 in the early noughties

I think we will be fine as Barton can definitely spot a player.
Even the ones that didn't work out were mainly down to injuries but 'were' decent players worth taking a chance on (Junior Brown, Leon Clarke, Brett Pitman, Mark Hughes etc)

Struggling to make sense of your keyboard skills. So you also think they'll both finish outside the top 6? Never mentioned Vale I think they'll be fine. Also every team bar Morecambe are less likely with the bookies to go down than you. Lolz.

We need more depth up top right now depending on the status of Wilson. Defensively I think we’ll be alright, think Not The Top 20 pod last season mentioned our defence was the best in L2 in open play (I assume they used xG) so hopefully that can translate higher up. It’s also an area we’ve strengthened further. Will be happy with just survival / consolidating overall.

Yep, and it's where the money is made - your entire prediction is at odds with what the bookies say, mine has one difference being Exeter. I'm also more in-line with what the pros are saying, you on the other hand... LMAO.

Apologies my keyboard skills of putting one word wrong made it such a confusing mess for you, I know the education oop norf is shoddy. I've edited it to help you grasp it that much better.

Someone who is proved correct time and time again on these forums is now classed as a WUM - Nice one. Granted, I guess you haven't seen my track record as you haven't been in L2, but it's fair to say I'm pretty much spot on, every single time. You'll realise that come May :)

This is bizarre. These are my predictions. Not swayed by bookmakers. For me there are 12 teams in realistic contention for the top 6. I would probably have Derby and Sheff Wed around 7/8th. Hardly mind blowing.

You may have a great record in L2, I've no idea if this is correct, but you're now in L1 and you have absolutely no idea of what you are going to face.
TBF you're giving everyone a laugh with your naive optimism. Fully expect your input on to this board will decrease as the season progresses and the Grecians fade away and head towards the trap door.
Enjoy your short stay in L1, it will be fun

Not posted for a whole - read all this thread and it seems we are red hot favourites to go down and I would agree with that whilst we have this walloper in charge. He has made some decent signings in fairness but still not striker, ( not that we need them as his anti brand of football is all about not conceding ).
So we are down unless he goes or has a change of formations and goes for it. ( the squad is capable of top half )

Predictions -

Ipswich
Oxford
Sheff Wednesday
Wycombe
Barnsley
Derby

Cheltenham
Morecambe
Us
Exeter

Nah, I don’t think we’d even entertain anything unless it was really ridiculous money. He’s been rumoured to have picked up an injury either towards the end of our training camp in Spain or just after getting back. Been various speculation he’s out potentially four weeks ranging up to Xmas if you believe some others.

Why are people entertaining this fella? Not even trying to hide the fact he’s just taking the piss.

The worst troll I’ve seen on this forum, and there’s been a few.
He's actually quite good fun. Made for an entertaining league 2 board and in fairness his confidence was actually pretty much right in the end!

I think it's a bit tongue in cheek but nothing wrong with being confident in your own team. Exeter were the best team in the division last year. They've got some good footballers.

He’s not good fun at all, the most boring poster I’ve ever come across.

“Exeter are going to be Champions! You don’t know anything about football if you disagree.”

And repeat.

It's all a bit tongue in cheek in my opinion but it's always fun to see people's reactions if his predictions don't quite go to plan.

I entertained your are Bolton losing at five past three each Saturday, in the October,November,December of 2020
You took great delight in telling me we was on the way to the national league despite me telling you we would turn it around..............................Listen and listen good you may not struggle but you wont be in the top 10
Concentrate on voting for the next clown to move into Downing Street and enjoy your season with the big boys

It was a meme that year with your nonsensical posts, that everyone said 'are bolton losing yet' early on in the games - wasn't just me.. yep you turned it around when you spent daft money in the jan transfer window, kudos...

I agree on the short stay in L1 - I'm just hoping Everton are relegated next year, I fancy a trip to Goodison Park in 23/24 in a league fixture.

Still very surprised no one has predicted us in the bottom 4, we are still weaker than last season and have a rookie coach in charge!

I thought the same.

Not in the Top 20 have us down as 24th (albeit they rue the loss of key player Max Melbourne who hardly played and was transfer listed for months, spending time out loan!), but everyone else seems to have us 15th-18th, same as last season.

No idea what people on the outside are seeing in us at the at this point tbh. I've got us down as 18th, more in hope at the minute!
