Well, that's the "1". Bet Sherwood throws his gillet off with delight!

Spurs really do have an average defence don't they?

1-0 Benteke.

I can see Benteke causing us trouble in the FA CUP semifinal.

It's not their defence I'd be worried about, it's their ability to score. Two games against relegation contenders that have yielded 0 goals.

Exactly right, I have to put my hands up and say I was wrong about Lambert. Happy to say Tim is proving me wrong!

I was wrong originally on Lambert, I like everyone else wanted him in, however he really should have been sacked after his first year, I continued to back him, but after that second season, he really needed to go. But he didn't. I also didn't want Sherwood and thought he was the wrong appointment. Of course, the jury is still out, but we're looking very good so far.

I think the diamond midfield has really helped Aston Villa, it's probably the best formation for making use of Cleverly's and Delph's energy whilst putting enough support up front for Benteke. He was far to isolated under much of Lambert's reign.

Also Grealish is looking tidy and it's good show of faith from Sherwood to play him there.

I still think the defence needs sorting, as it was horribly exposed by QPR and Sanchez, while an okay destroyer is really poor on the ball.

He is rubbish on the ball, but he does his job well, our other option is Westwood who isn't anywhere near as good at breaking up play, but is very good with the ball.
