Spurs, along with Man City, are the two sides who've destroyed us this season. Sure they had a fair bit of help from one Artur Boruc to get them on their way with the first couple goals, but from front to back they were pretty untouchable that day at Dean Court.

So fair to say we don't expect anything out of this, although it should be said that we're a much better outfit than back then.

With safety just about clinched, we can give this a crack and see what happens. No point going there scared and parking a bus, not that a Howe side is capable of doing that in any case.

Unfortunately can't make this since it got moved to Sunday, but a London day is always great for our support and I've no doubt the away end will be full of pissed up happy Cherries.

I think your chances depend on Leicester too. If we don't get a win v Palace I think you've got no chance as Spurs will be far more up for it mentally than if we got a win. Hoping you get something. A nice stifling draw, 0-0.

So Kane has scored 20 league goals in successive seasons. He's the real deal.

6 penalties and 7 against Bournemouth and Villa.

He's good, just not THAT good.

Scored twice against Arsenal, twice against City, twice against West Ham and once against Leicester also, i.e. the best record against the best sides in the league.

It was a mistake in hindsight to start with the system we did, basically decided to keep the same attack minded system that's won us all those recent games.

Corrected that at half time when already 2-0 down. Come out second half starting brightly, but get done on the counter with a helping fuck up from Boruc.

Hey Ho, apologies to Leicester, Spurs just too good for us, unsurprisingly.

Well that was a bit of a lesson.

But we can learn more about ourselves from today than we do from say beating Newcastle.

Spurs excellent twice against us, let's just hope Kane is good for the Euros

Important victory to Spurs to keep on track of Leicester. Statistically talking, with 16 kicks to goal against only 2 it was stilly for Tottenham. Kane did very well and Spurs' first half in a whole was pretty good too. Despite of a second half controled to Tottenham I still see them lowing their efficiency as the match reaches this point even more when they are with a good score and that can be dangerous.

Us and Spurs play the same style, the reason they've tonked us twice now is simply that their players are so much better than ours. They were simply faster, more skilful and showed more quality all over.

Having said that we were awful at times, no excuse to concede that goal after 40 odd seconds from frankly shite defending. Spurs were the business but we made it far too easy for them. Eddie was as angry as I've heard him after the game and won't let these players drop into holiday mode

Also to lump us and Villa in same category as some kind of struggling easy goal gift is a touch harsh, we have double their points!
