Well thats our latest thumping from Spurs out the way, usually 4 or 5 from them.
What's odd is that it flattered them I thought. We had 3 or 4 clear cut chances, I'd normally back us to score a couple from those positions. We didn't take any of our chances, whereas Spurs where absolutely clinical whenever they got a clear sight.
Disappointed that the scoreline makes it out to be so one-sided. But it rightly punishes us for some shoddy defending at times.
Having Walker-Peters and Son tag-teaming up on Charlie Daniels was almost cruel in its mismatched pace and quality. Walker-Peters looks very good.
Worst thing was Francis' injury. His knee seemed to bend a very odd way, and he went off in tears on the stretcher. He's 34 shortly, if that ends his season, it might well end his career. That'd be a shocking way for such a stalwart, a legend to us, to go. Very sad.
Whilst on paper it looks for all the world like a comprehensive victory ,I was surprised how error strewn Bournemouth looked at the back ,they certainly had enough chances in the first 15 or so mins to have rocked this Spudz team ,but I don't think Spudz will have an easier game for the rest of the season against a team that proffered such a quite frankly distinct lack of defensive acumen.
