Really need to sort our home form out or we are down, this has to go down as a game we can't lose with Barnsley and Sheff U up next.

Half our squad are injured and the other mostly can't be arsed so I can only see an away win unfortunately. If WIlson players Hird centre mid again instead of at the back I won'yt be going into the ground - he's got it massively wrong in the past couple of weeks for me and it could well cost us.

Other than the 5-0 and a 2-2 we always lose at Chesterfield so won't be easy by any stretch. Dead rubber for us now so depends how arsed our lot are too I guess.

It's probably a decent game for us if Vale are already mentally on holiday. I just have no confidence in this side at all at the minute though

1 point from 9 just when we needed to ' man ' up. Chesterfield want it more and we are on our hols already i reckon.

Either that or we will put in one of those five or six top performances we've put in this season, win 3-0 and cause fury amongst our fans for doing it a game too late!

Losing Inniss is a blow has to be giving Streete a go now!

We might want it but that doesn't mean we can do anything about it. Has someone set a timer on our last shot on target? We're talking weeks.

I've "accidentally" slept in at the missus' house in Preston so it looks like I won't make it back in time for this. Gutted.

I did that 9 months ago hence missing this! :cool1: Can't wait now but I guess I'd have hated missing the run in had we had the play offs in sight.

Sounds a superb performance so far but only the 1 goal which is our problem. Keep it up lads!

4 goals in less than 45 minutes against a side struggling to score. Very very concerning defensively that's 10 in 4 conceded now after a solid season at the back.

Well get beat, we've completely switched off. To concede 4 in a half is unacceptable and the second in four games (think it was less than 30 minutes playing time for Burtons 4)

Not sure that we'll win another game this season. Page is boring and every Vale fan could call this result a mile off. Our away form has simply been pathetic.

Well that was a game of two halves. First have we dominated the 1st half and should have scored more.2nd half Chesterfield made 2 changes and dominated the 2nd. Rice ripped us apart. Poor defending by us.

Ha!

I have no idea how we won that game scoring 4 goals having seen one of the worst first-half performances i've ever witnessed from a Town side. This team is horrible but the points are very welcome.

Your team were clinical when putting chances away where we have been awful in front of goal this season.
