There has been a lot of backlash to this trailer. Could go horribly wrong given the director is the guy who directed the Fast and the Furious movies.

However, the trailer doesn't bother me so much. We see loads of good trailers for bad movies. I think this might just be a bad trailer for a possibly good movie.

FANTASTIC BEASTS TRAILER

Fantastic beasts and where to find them's first trailer was quite discreet and despite the sotryline passing before the Harry Potter's it looks more modern and with a lighter plot development, I mean, it seems Harry Potter movies had more elements from the magical world and a strongest story while Fantastic Beasts seems more focused on the "muggles" world being affected by magic but not with potential antagonists such like Voldemort and Death Eaters were in HP.

Really not sure on this! (This isn't some stupid sexist 'but it's womenz' bollocks). But the whole thing seems totally derivative of the original, with the occasional look at the sequel. It's like someone watched The Force Awakens and thought 'Yeah, that worked for them, let's do that'.

Can't read too much into a trailer, but it references the originals, so it's something that happened in that universe, and then looks like a complete reboot. In a world where the paranormal has almost destroyed New York twice, why does it take a scrappy group of scientists (and one random black person... Again) to invent and develop the tech needed to stop it a third time?

Hopefully it's just some dodgy trailer editing and it'll be seamless. But it looks confused as fuck at the moment.

Apparently there isn't any connection to the previous film, they just stuck that line in there to grab peoples attention. This movie looks like a total pile of garbage. No problem with reboots, no problem with recasting women in these roles. But this just looks awful. The jokes, if you could call them that, just seemed ridiculous. Maybe they are saving their best ones, dunno. But the CGI looks like a mix of the ghosts from the live action Scooby-Do movies and Pixels, really really poor. I think this movie is going to be a disaster.

The only good part about that trailer was the piano version of the tune at the start, otherwise looked pretty crap.

I'm still waiting for them to reveal that it's all a big joke. And that they actually filmed a real Ghostbusters 3 years ago while Egon was still around so they could do it LIKE THEY FUCKING SHOULD HAVE AT SOME POINT IN THE LAST THIRTY DAMN YEARS.

I actually don't care about remakes that much, if they're good enough, they're good enough... but even I can't fucking abide the look of this Ghostbusters film.

Now watch it turn out to be awesome and prove us all wrong.

*deep intake of breath* OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

Seriously, this looks amazing. Got the same tone and feel as Captain America 2, real nice blend of characters, action, emotion. I love the fact that there looks like there will be a number of smaller battles mixed in with the big one. Spiderman looks cool as well. Bet there is a twist where they fight a bigger enemy as a team(Baron Zemo), but unlike Batman v Superman, they've left that out as a surprise. Marvel is streets ahead of DC, I reckon this film will prove that once and for all. Can't wait for this.
