Been linked with another Arsenal reserve right back in Carl Jenkinson now.

BILD reporting Liverpool have put a bid of £74m in for Keita.

Leipzig are mental to refuse it IMO, I know they don't want to lose him next season but he'll go for a lot less next season.

What does the money matter to a multi billion pound company like Red Bull though? It's fuck all to them. He'll still have 2 years on his contract next summer and if he has another season like the one just gone, while also proving his class in the CL, there'll be bigger and better clubs than Liverpool willing to buy him.

He has a release clause in his contract, he'll go for £55m ish next season apparently. And no successful company in the world will have a business model where they turn down £20m profit because they're already a multi billion company, or they won't be for long. That doesn't mean they will accept (they probably won't), but if they turn us down they do so because they think keeping him is worth more than those £20m, not because they have so much money they don't have to care. Red Bull, I assure you, care down to the last cent of the cans on the shelves.

I think it's pretty sensible for Leipzig to hold onto their star player now, even if they risk a loss of millions next season. It's likely a worthy investment considering they may increase their ability to attract star names to their club, be able to compete/continue to qualify for the Champions League and draw more attention to the club. All of which brings additional revenue that probably far exceeds the £20 million they may lose next season. It's a particularly wise investment for a nouveau riche club that needs to generate a significant international fan base if it wants to survive long-term.

Linked with a Tunisian defender in Aymen Abdennour - has been at Monaco and Valencia so the likes of MM might know more about him.

Juventus have apparently turned their interests to Matuidi with Matić looking likely to join United.

This is dragging on.

£20mil is fuck all in modern football, never mind to Red Bull, hence RBL repeatedly turning down your offers. Point is it's not mental to refuse it, release clause or not. Keita would be wise to crack on there for another year anyway, another good season and there'll be more than just Liverpool interested in buying him.

Yes because they're so very similar right.

You need a Carrick replacement, no? Matuidi isn't it.

be more than just Liverpool interested in buying him.

They don't get him now, they never will as if he has another cracking season at Leipzig he can have better offers, and he'll be another missed target. He does want to come this window though, and hurting his club-mate in tackles is a good way of going about getting a transfer; but I think this is a dead ducky personally.

should chuck some money at renato sanchez before milan sign him imo. he's been criticised a lot but barely played last season and wants out. loads of room to improve and probably half the price of the keita offer, albeit a slightly different sort of player

Say what now? If he did that on purpose he's a dickhead.

it was the club captain an' all. revenge tackle. both of them are idiots. here's a 4 pixel video of the incident...

Aye the captain fella went a touch hard on him before, so he thought he'd get his own back and did so rather excessively! All good now though, he was touching the lad's knee apologetically in a pic earlier today.

To G.B, I do like Renato Sanches a lot from what I've seen, he looks a hell of a player in the making, though it hasn't worked for him at Bayern. We could do worse than go in for him that's for sure, as Liverpool will need a midfielder this season if Hendo's heel issues kick up yet again.

Speaking of dodgy sources, one reckons that Coutinho has agreed terms with Barcelona.

They can have him next year, but for this window they could piss right off.

This window is annoying as hell. 50 million for average players seems to be the going rate now.

This kid from Monaco has half a decent season and he's worth over 100 million? Give me a break!!!

He might be shite next season.

Nowhere near as much as the player from Inter we are being linked with.

Just pay want Inter want or end the interest.

Koeman has said he expects Barkley to leave 100%.
Might wanna drop the asking price then given nobody has put in an offer and Koeman has pretty much made it clear he has no future at Everton anymore.

Yeah, that one has been ridiculous. It's such a (relatively) small amount of money that we are supposedly quibbling over too.

Coutinho has "expressed his desire" to leave Liverpool in talks with Klopp.

Just noticed they're not allowed to discuss Coutinho on RAWK. Looks like he's off then. :surr:
