Sky reckon we've dropped our interest in Mamadou Sakho due to his £100k a week wages.

Hilarious that Liverpool are paying him that much in the first place.

Can't believe a premier league side has bought Schlupp off of us. He's shit. His only half decent position is wingback, and the only time he's played that this season he was the worst player on the pitch.
Makes you wonder about the scoring systems these clubs have. Hes quick and strong. They're his good points. His control just below average, his crossing is hit n hope and his defensive positioning is piss poor. I look forward to seeing him score his first hat trick against us.
Now who wants Ulloa?

12m as well, isn't it? He'd have been packed off to the Championship for a million or so if Leicester hadn't won the title last season.

Few stories last week that we would be signing Ishak Belfodil from Standard Liege for anything between €4-10m. We could do with another forward and he was highly rated a few years ago. Better than Kone so hopefully we get this done this week

There was definitely some revisionist history going on when Bilic rejoined, as he was a very good defender and fan favourite but did leave under a cloud to join Everton. I even remember a late night football chat show hosted by Jonathan Pierce with Bilic on the program being questioned by a West Ham fan saying we didnt mind him wanting to leave, but why go to Everton? :D Anyone else remember that short lived show?

But as far as i recall Bilic didnt refuse to play.

Looks like Carl Jenkinson is joining Palace. Never quite made the grade but he had a few good games and won an England cap. Good luck Carl Jenkinson.

Jenkinson had a really good season for us under Allardyce, or at least the 1st half season until he and all the team had a terrible 2nd half of the season. Had a bad start under Bilic, especially in that Bournemouth game, and in his last appearance vs Man City game too where he gave away a penalty and injured himself doing so.

Solid buy though.

Yeah slightly odd, but for the right price I think we'd do a deal. Much as we like the fella, he's had nothing but set backs here and you kinda get the feeling it's just not going to work out. Undoubted talent in his boots if the right club can get him fit and firing. I'd love him to stay and click into gear with us though. The currently quoted 3m is a bit cheap.

He'll be a good signing, he's raw but has a lot of talent and is a speedy fucker. Another one FSG let slip through the nets... :ffs:

FSG is the best thing that has happened to us in the past 25 years so I'll forgive them.

G-Dragon vs Chelsea Royale - The ultimate troll-off. My money is on G-Dragon, at least he only supports one team.

We've put a bid in for Snodgrass apparently. Just been confirmed. Not sure how much, but Robbie Brady bid is said to be around £10 million plus add on's. I'd guess we've probably low balled them to start off with a bid of a £1 more than the previous highest bid.

I'm happy to see him go, he was awful for us pretty much every time he played.

If I found myself in the SSN studio with a shovel and a free hit at any of them I'd head straight over to Jim White's table.

On deadline day.

Leave Natalie Sawyer alone, but yeah, bash Jim White to mincemeat! So full of himself, he was never like that when he was a presenter up here.

Sideways move for a last payday, given he's 33. Probably far from his first choice but in the career twilight, the move makes sense.

Ighalo to WBA for 17 million?

Basically everyone on our forums said they'd take that and run!

With my missus being Dutch, we watch a lot of Eredivisie. We were surprised to say the least that United signed him. We said at the time he was not good enough/ready enough for the Premier League, especially at the amount paid. He was always a high risk signing but at that fee, was beyond strange.
At best he was hit and miss for PSV in the games we saw him play for them. Mind you your manager was Dutch so therein was an issue in that he tried to surround himself with his preferences.
