If my team was signing Joao Moutinho and other world-renowned players I would... well, I don't know what I'd do, but I certainly wouldn't care enough to demand respect from faceless plebs on a football forum.
Considering you got 2768 posts interacting with these faceless plebs your life must be pretty shit then

Jonny signed, no idea on that one but I trust in the scouting.

The Harry McGuire to united is mental on several levels. All that money and he's nowhere near the level of the much maligned Phil Jones.

Ma is just the English adaptation. In the olde country it's Mc, son of guire. Pay homage.

Actually the opposite, McGuire is an English mistranslation, the Maguires ruled Fermanagh before the Ulster plantation and it is still by far the most common surname in my native county.

But yeah, overspending on players based almost entirely on World Cup performances alone rarely goes to plan. He reminds me of Phil Jones on many levels.

Maguire is comfortably worth 65mill. And I say that as someone who definitely didn't say I'd take 50 for him when there was speculation in January.

If we buy him and Mourinho instructs him never to pass the halfway line, I'm going to snipe his head off of his shoulders like a grape.

If I did it was unwittingly, mate.

I suppose that's just the sort of comic genius I am.

Colombian defensive midfielder / full back Jefferson Lerma who we've been chasing all summer from Levante has now handed in a formal transfer request.

On the one hand i guess its good as it increases our chances of getting a type of player we really need. On the other hand, do you want to be signing a player who is prepared to force a move away against the wishes of his club?

He was one of those midfielders who spent most of that Colombia game kicking England's players.

Rojo to (yep, you guessed it) Wolves for 25m, according to the Telegraph.

Don't wanna upset G.B or owt but we're rumoured to be close to signing Lascelles. Don't believe it personally but if Fat Mike smells money, you never know.
Probably the last straw for Rafa that.

Maguire is worth 25m at most.

Unless you're talking about Sean Maguire, in which case 80m is a bargain.

My instinct tells me Alfie Mawson is better. Like a true admiral I checked the data and the data proves Mawson to be the better. Shame we'll only get about £25m for him if he moves on.

Last time your instinct said Swansea were set for top 4...look how that turned out.

Liverpool wanting £20m for Ings is a sad indictment of how much they've overspent this summer.
