Jeez, couldn't you just have made something positive up or something?
They are both world beaters, Keith Curle is desperate for them to stay but he's just received the invoice for last weeks half time orange wedges so they both have to go to settle up with the grocer.

Nearly positive!

Mark Ellis had great potential when he was with us. Thought he'd go higher than he did to be honest.

Our ex-skipper Angus MacDonald is subject of a £2.5m bid from Norwich. We have a 15% sell on - unless the old board sold that when we were desperately short of cash. If not, then GI will probably take that money anyway.

How different things could have been in the last couple of seasons for us, I know that we tried to sign him last January but he turned us down.

So thats him and Bogle that have turned us down and became 7 figure players ffs

Just seen that Ellis is close to joining FGR (possibly Brisley too), would be a good signing. He's been out of favour this season, and we need to ship some out to bring in fresh faces. He's been a good player overall with us, not a world-beater but largely solid.

Brisley was signed in the summer and most of our fans thought he'd solve our consistent defensive problems, he didn't. He had a spell of starts around December time, and bar a goal of the season contender, he was shite.

Andy Haworth is leaving us if he can agree a deal with a club - would be a good signing for Conference North, and can cut it in this league if he gets a run of games.
Defender Euan Murray has left as well, implying that he has got a deal elsewhere (probably back in Scotland).
Supposedly got a bunch of new players coming in ahead of Saturday.

To be fair, Bogle turned down just about every team in this division. I know we had an offer on the table for him too.

We've had a second bid rejected by Macclesfield for their midfielder Danny Rowe, the first bid is believed to have been for 100k. Sounds as though we will go in again for a third

I liked Mark Ellis when he was with us, and he's spent the rest of his career at L1 and L2 level since then, so it's about as proven a signing a non-league side could make.

Getting £360k for our 15% in Angus MacDonald would have been brilliant 2 months ago. It could have cleared our debts and set us up for the next year or two. Now, I have no confidence that we'll see much, if any, benefit at all.

Where has Barnet's money suddenly come from? Can't justify those spends for too long on the low crowds they get surely...

Eastleigh have given us a load of cash for fringe players plus compensation for Allen so we have been shrewd with dealings. Also Gambin to Luton

The income at the Hive is so much more than football

To be fair it took us a long time to sign him, had offers in the season prior to him coming but Bignot convinced him to stay another season to help him develop more before moving up. (Also a reason Fenty wanted Bignot as manager because of how he played hardball over Bogle to us)
For that reason I'm hopeful we can keep him until at least the summer as Bignot convinces him again not to move up the leagues too quickly.

As has been mentioned with Ellis, we sold Brisley to Posh a few years ago and looked destined for a great football league career, not sure why he's gone backwards really. He was far too good for us when we let him go, would have him back in a flash.

Not sure if Askey is just being stubborn on the Rowe deal with Barnet as there's rumours he won't get any of the money to spend so is just refusing to sell, but if Barnet come back with something along the lines of £100k+, plus a decent sell on then we're fucking mental not to take it and start planning for next season. We should be driving to keep him on loan for rest of the season as part of the deal too.

Agree 100% with The Boss , it would be crazy to turn down a 100k + offer. Just intrigued as to where this transfer windfall will end up , hopefully not where the Oxford tv money went allegedly

Kleanthous.
No wonder they have lots of cash to throw around if they are selling valuable antiques and works of art on the side, bit unfair on the rest of us though. :£

Alfreton considering £80k bid from Burnley for defender Brad McGowan #atfc #twitterclarets

This sounds like utter bollocks from one of those fake agents on Twitter.

I believe Burnley may be interested but there is no way we would consider an 80k offer! We would snap your hand off.

Anyone claiming to be an agent on Twitter and not sharing a link to their agency is almost certainly a teenager taking a break from his Mega Drive for a few hours a day.

Hopefully "one or two in by Tuesday" according to DC. Sounds like things have moved a bit in the last 24 hours or so. Usual case this time of year of being in a chain of transfers.

Someone on Deva Chat has suggested that we've been offered between £50k and £70k for 19 year-old Sam Hughes because he's out of contract in the summer. He's the best prospect we've had since Paul Futcher, so I hope we get a bit more than that.

My old man used to play for the same Sunday League side as Brad's dad (Good keeper) and I remember megging Brad in a 6 a side game. Would be nice to be able to say I've megged an 80k Premier League player :D

When's Akinola signing? Thought it was "a question of when, not if, he signs for Lincoln,"
