Yeah he's been one of their better players by all accounts. He's rapid. Came off the bench and ran the entire length of the pitch to score on the break vs us.

They have two very good wingers. Justin Donawa tore us apart at York Road as well a couple of weeks ago.

Twitter rumours that we’re after Longstaff from Gateshead.

Can anyone give us the low down?

The ‘Kabongoat’ off to N Wales by the looks of it too.. at the very least, I can see a huge bid to unsettle the lad. V underhand from Wrexham imo.

Absoutely zero chance that Tshimanga goes to Wrexham.

Quote me on it.

Might make a shithouse bid but no chance we're getting him.

Depends if the release clause rumours are true.. either way, the lad’s head will be turned when he knows there is £5k per week on the table. Luton-esque behaviour from the Red Dragons, imo

Not really a transfer rumour but have heard on Twitter that Danny Rowe has now been diagnosed with a heart condition in which he / his family, medical professionals and the club now need to make a decision on whether he is able to carry on playing or if he’ll have to retire!

I really really hope it isn’t the latter, he still has so much to give and having him back would be a huge boost to our promotion chase, but if it’s going to put him at serious risk of having a cardiac arrest / heart attack etc every time he steps out onto that pitch then I’m afraid there’s only one sensible choice to make! Watch this space on that one, will be interesting to see how it plays out as an announcement is surely due soon enough..

Confirmed on a club podcast that the release clause you’re talking about was removed in a renegotiation of his contract earlier on this season. So if they want him, they’ll have to stump up the biggggg bucks… and then there’s the fact that he’d actually have to want to leave, he seems to be loving absolutely everything about playing for us at the moment

Campbell would be an astute bit of business.

Maybe it’s just that he was useless for us as a young loanee, but Campbell absolutely screams one of those half season wonders you get. Done absolutely nothing anywhere until this year.

I'm surprised he's 24, I thought he was still a bit younger. Having said that, he's been bigged up as hot shit numerous times now and this is the first time he's really delivering. Strikes me as one of those that is at risk of failing if he moves away from Woking too soon.

Rumour the team's meeting with the NL finance committee is today and we might get the embargo lifted as the TTP with HMRC is in place.....here's hoping......never a dull moment as a Shrimper.

Campbell flattered to deceive with us on loan last season. Don’t think anyone was bothered about signing him permanently. Scored a screamer at Notts County but did very little apart from that. Surprised he’s done so well at Woking in all honesty.

A striker in good form and in amongst the goals like Tshimanga usually stinks of Peterborough.

He is out of contract in May and is equal 2nd top scorer in NL. He wouldn't break the bank so would be an astute signing if it happens!

We are being linked with striker Luke Charman at Darlington who looks to have a good record this season. Anyone know anything about him?

League one and two have wages caps in place and players moved there are unlikely to be for a financially lucrative deal, hence the mercenaries jumping ship the the likes of Wrexham and Stockport. I’d say Kabongoals has more of a chance of joining Wrexham over a league one or two club.

Completely agree. It makes no sense for any party given what he would cost us. If he goes anywhere it is into the league but I dont think that happens till the summer given the current state of the transfer market.

I think false rumours are being put out trying to tempt Stockport to splash out ( like the did with quigs when they thought we were interested) whilst we quietly signed Paul Mullin

Maybe he does, but if we offered to triple a player's wages then you'll find a lot of players actually don't like playing for the club as much as they once thought.

It's happened to us a few times, Mangan to Fleetwood and Danny Wright to FGR stick in the mind. I can see us putting a bid in to try and turn his head a little, but as said before I can't see us actually signing him.

You do realise there is no transfer window restrictions in this division other than for Wrexham.
Yep, but any signings we may have targeted from League clubs that may depend on them getting replacements for will be subject to the window. So although there isn't a transfer window in the NL and below, that's not to say it won't affect us. And we need this embargo lifted because of that. We can't even re-sign the 2 loanees from Sheff Utd. if it is still in place.

He was really good against us and then I dipped into some more Woking highlights and he stood out for his pace and movement as well as the goals.

I suppose at 24 at Woking it’s either clicked with him that if he wants to do this as a full-time living he needs to fulfil his potential or as you say it could be a half season/one season wonder.

We’ve got one in Alex Reid who we gave a long-term big money contract to and who now can’t make our 16.

Some of you lot down here with money are going to get rinsed in January, Plenty of expensive players who can’t be arsed on the payroll in L1/2 to take up.

Money speaks, clearly but it was said that Rowe had to twist his arm to get him to sign here as it was. Why would a player at the top of his game go NL > NL > NL in the space of 6, 7 months?

The next league he plays in will be the football league, with or without us.
