They'll probably pay him more, so I could see him going. It's whether Hearts can meet Chesterfield's £10m valuation.

Rumoured Chesterfield want £950k for Tshimanga.
Mad....

Really? They probably paid not for off a third of that for him, not sure that’s an unreasonable asking price in January with the season he’s had tbh.

Do Hearts have that kind of money? No idea on the finances of that kind of club tbh, but it’d be quite a cool move for the player.

Makes a change, usually SPL clubs do their shopping in the Shit Strikers Thread.

If you posted this on twitter you'd have 20 Celtic and Rangers freaks posting their attendance figures in response.

There is kind of a point there though, when Kristian Dennis swapped Notts for St Mirren some of our fans struggled to get their heads around the fact he’d rather play in front of 50,000 at Ibrox and Parkhead than 800 at Dover and Boreham Wood (no offence lads). Plus at Hearts there is the added bonus of potential European football.

As Jacob says though, I’d be surprised if Hearts have the kind of dough Chesterfield want.

We are apparantly signing Omar Mussa from Weymouth.

Was their best player by a mile when we played them at their place. It would probably mean though that we will also see an outgoing, lets hope its not Lemonheigh-Evans as rumoured on Wrexham's forum.

Aye. Club wants a lot of money for one of their assets. Game’s gone.
I agree you want to make as much money as you can on him, it just seems a lot on a player yet to prove themselves at a higher level.
I would even say £950k is too much for Mullin and he's played at that higher level.
It's all opinions though.

I'm sure he won't mind where he plays if he's on 3k-4k a week
Yep, same goes for the likes of Mullin, Tozer, Hayden and James Jones with us, all dropped down from the league to earn more money. I'm not convinced Palmer wouldn't do the same.

But then point out they’d love to play in England..

Yep I'd just go to whoever gave me the most money, longest contract etc. Wrexham get more fans than Wimbledon too.

League One? Get to go and play at Sunderland and Ipswich once a year. Who cares?

Anything below the Championship or a team who is really going for it in League One and you'd go for the best contract.

Why is a £950k valuation ‘MAD’ for Tshimanga??

Every club in this league would love him, every club in the league above would love him, and I’m fairly certain a good proportion of teams in the league above that would love him too. The man’s got 20 league goals in 21 games and he is absolutely loving his time here and his football.

If any team wants him, meet the valuation… or move onto other targets. We’re in a very strong position, he’s sat on a contract that has two and half years remaining on it… (summer 2024)

If you want my honest opinion, he’s worth even more to us than that. An absolute goal machine

P.s. before anyone starts going on about how ‘Vardy only went for £1m’… let’s not forget that football has come a very very long way since then in terms of finances, and also at the time that was seen as an extremely good deal for fleetwood. It’s only looked back on as an absolute steal because of what he went on to achieve.

Don't read our forum... Some on there reckon he's worth 4 billion. £950k is sensible, but should hopefully be a deterrent.

Nah. Wouldn't suit our style of play. Far too selfish as a player to suit our style. Wouldn't swap him for Quigley or Madden who lead the line to facilitate a a more progressive style of play.

He suits Chesterfield's more direct style down to the ground and he'll eat Top Scorer easy so the style is working down to the ground.

But he wouldn't fit us and I don't think he'd suit Notts County either.

Horses for courses though, I respect him as a player and in terms of individual actions, the best striker in the league.

Wow. That's B2TF level bollocks. I hope that's just for a reaction.

You wouldn’t take the leagues top goal scorer with 20 goals in 21 starts no? thats nice. Believe it or not, and for the record I certainly wouldn’t swap Tshimanga, Asante or Rowe for any of your lads so glad we’re in agreement.

See you soon, will be there on the 8th feb, looking forward to it
