our latest rumours from a journo who does one of our podcasts, and a credible source of info, is a Cheltenham midfielder (with a finger being pointed in the direction of Conor Thomas), and Theo Archibald from Leyton Orient
Apart from Theo Archibald being our player on loan at Orient and his recall clause has been and gone.

On players fitting certain Clubs, we had the opportunity to sign Jack Lester in around 2007 for our fluid, good footballing side but John Schofield didn't think he would suit it despite how good he was and we ended up with Steve Torpey who, well...

He's injured as well I think. The Terminator seems to know a bit about Orient's transfer dealings.

Under contract until 2023, so if you fancy him at the end of the season...

Sounds like bullshit then, like 99% of our rumours. Getting bored of there being no signings now, I expected at least one by now! I know there's still lots of the window left and most of the deals are usually completed towards the end, but I'm still wanting something.

I am not panicking yet, still expecting a signing or two by this weekend, and probably another couple next week if we're lucky.

I think you’re underestimating how big of a step up Hearts would be from any club at this level. Doubt they’ve got the money, though.
I think you’re completely overestimating it.

I also don’t think they have anywhere near enough money to buy him.

Yeah it's not panic, I'm just getting a little impatient. I'm sure the wait will be worth it.

Jackett has said he is here on loan until the end of the season, its passed his recall date.

Nothing to stop Wrexham bidding though! His injury is only a minor knock. Our owner has said we will spend money in this window - we may well bid to bring him here pernamently now. We shall see.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
There’s no need to panic. There’s no transfer window in the National League, last day for signings is third Thursday in March.

Not for Wrexham. Looks like they will be windowed out of it again. Supposedly a plan was in place for the other NL clubs to adhere to the January window as well in a gesture of solidarity and fair play, but it was vetoed at the 11th hour by one club, which was all that was required for the idea to be shelved.

I’ll give you a clue - their name rhymes with ‘Lester peeled’.

Wrexham will go big last week of the window for Hollywood effect.

Whether the players they get are up to the top, top standard remains to be seen. Could be an element of panic about it but they'll definitley have a go and get 3-4 in at least.

By the time they play at the weekend they’ll have gone three weeks without a league game since playing us. You’d have thought that was the ideal opportunity to get some players in early, used to the team and with plenty of training under their belt etc.

There’s not much room for error for them now IMO. The gaps aren’t massive, but there’s a lot of teams they’d have to get past to win it. Once games in hand are played it’s likely 8/9 points to Halifax, Chesterfield and B Wood, and 4/5 to Notts and Stockport. Big ask.

Question for all. Who would swap their budgets for Wrexham's if you also had to have the wonderful Welsh Window?

They are trying to make it look like they won't be overpaying for anyone. If anything we'll end up paying more the later we leave it.

Maybe Shaun Harvey is just crap at negotiating/ people don't want to sell/ are holding out for more than we want to pay because everyone knows we have loads. Or maybe its all for effect.

So many possibles. We definitely want several players though, the squad is nowhere near good enough.

We have plenty of money though, that's not the issue.

They are definitely saving some last minute drama for the Netflix docu. The Sunderland episode where they ended up paying £4m for Will Grigg on deadline day was a classic.

I really hope there is nothing like that, that bit was toe curling. The manager pleading with Donaldson to hang up and that he didn't even want him but he just keeps raising the bid higher and higher....Wigan probably couldn't believe their luck.

Shaun Harvey runs the show at our place so I could well imagine something cringe like that unfortunately.

If you're slinging fees around that are competing with Football League teams then you might well have to wait until deadline day or for other moves to happen.

Imagine the Hollywood lads rocking up in a car Harry Redknapp style on Sky on deadline day though, that's some Wrexham bants that I could get on board with.

Will we get Rob and Ryan pitch side playing Ibiza dance tracks and shouting at girls from the ticket office about a potential record attendance?

Negotiating with Mino Raiola about buying out Pogba's contract. Here the 2 stumbling blocks are Pogba's role as an extra in Reynolds next movie. I also here he's not a fan of Sheep as goal bonuses :D
