Callum Elder has been recalled by Leicester and sent on loan to Barnsley instead.

Good move for us - hopefully freeing up more wages for a couple of additions this afternoon, and with Rico Henry hopefully back from injury before too long he wouldn't have got any games anyway.

For Barnsley fans, he was a fairly solid left back, but won't pull up any trees. Got caught out on occasion and you guys will definitely be able to do better in the summer.

Not a particularly bold prediction, given if he doesn't move to you he'll probably be in the stands with us anyway!

He'll be a good player for you, could definitely do a job in the Prem too, not sure how well he'd do if he's not the main man like he is at Brentford, so expect his scoring record to drop, but for my money I'd only have Gayle over Hogan if I was in this league (out of strikers currently playing in this league...)

From our side, delighted if the fees mentioned are true. Massive amount of money for a club like us, and you have to remember also that he only has 18 months left on his contract, and has only played c.30 times for us. Looking forward to having Canos back, him and Jota on the wings would be brilliant. Need to get a striker in today, but hopefully we'd scrape enough points through the end of the season even if we didn't.

Oh, and fee wise I've been hearing c.£10m up front, the add-ons predominantly coming from promotion to the PL, but also a no-injury clause, and a nice sell on % on top (though I doubt we'll ever see anything from that...). So doesn't sound too different to £9m rising to £15m if that's what you are hearing.

Rochdale should do pretty well out of this too - quite a few clubs have done well off sell on fees from us in the past couple of years.

Definitely mate, reckon he'll link up well with Kodjia? We are planning on playing two up top apparently, so the conclusion is that he'll partner Kodjia in a 4-4-2.

They should do pretty well together, depends how far up the pitch Kodija likes to play, as Hogan likes to play off the shoulder of the last man (frequently offside) so as long as Kodija can drop a bit, they should work well.

Story has changed up here to £9million rising to £12million, and yes, add ons mostly from promotion to PL, heard nothing about injury clause.
