He’s unproven really. Nice lad, tries really hard but wasn’t really used last season after he signed in January. Did bag a massive goal away at Morecambe and looked impressive against Bristol Rovers in the pizza trophy.

Personally I think he could do with a loan to a L1 club to get him a solid run of games.

Certainly looked like the sort of guy who will keep players happy and got the best out of Sarr compared to the lot we had last season .

Lewis Gibson has supposedly signed. Left footed Everton centre back. Looks like he was pictured with his Missus here last week I think it was. Seems it’ll be a permanent rather than a loan.

Aaron Connolly from Brighton has also been mentioned, and Tyler Morton on loan from Liverpool who was at Blackburn last season.

Apparently us and Preston are looking at Tommy Leigh from Accrington. Doesn’t exactly excite me to much and I’m sure the Preston lads would say the same but we seem to like signing players who have done well at a lower level. Finn Azaz on loan, and Tyriek Wright / Saxon Earley being 3 examples last season. Need to be creative / look outside the box with our recruitment to compete with the bigger boys.

We haven't tried to bring Delap back as far as I know, he was pretty terrible here.

Is Connolly a permanent? I'd be unsure about a loan but I think he'd be a good long term investment.

You did go for Delap, Blackburn were the other team in for him. Connolly is loan (but he's out of contract at end of season so we could sign him then).
