Liam Feeney signs for Blackburn Rovers on a 2 year deal. My early candidate for relegation next season.

Millers first signing to be announced Monday.

A Swedish winger, who's played in the PL...

No names, mainly cos I can't spell it.

Now that'd be a decent signing for Rotherham.

Stokes is a decent signing for them, but yeah, they could well go down.

Burton (Sorry!) Rotherham and one of Blackburn, Barnsley and Preston would be my guesses to go down.

Take it you wouldn't be sorry to see any of the rest of us go down then?

Though how your crystal ball works yet when nobody even knows what squads these teams have I don't know.
Maybe you can send me the lottery numbers.

I think you're underestimating the division. I'd be shocked if that was the case.

Elliot Lee, Kayden Jackson Stefan Payne and George Moncur are not signings that will have Barnsley in the top half of the table. They've also lost Isgrove, Fletcher and Brownhill and will probably still lose Mawson and maybe Hourihane. Hammill could easily have one of his dips in form and lose interest if things don't go well. I'll be shocked if Barnsley aren't battling relegation next season. Like JJH said, it's a bloody tough league and three teams have to go down.

So are you if you're expecting anything from Stefan Payne.

Don't recall saying anything about Stefan Payne mate. Never seen him play personally.

You two are in for a shock then.
I'll reserve judgment until August, but the squad you had in L1 would massively struggle in the Championship, and Isgrove, Fletcher, Brownhill etc weren't yours and you may not get most of them back.

There's a hell of a lot of money in this league, it'd be one hell of an achievement for Barnsley to be up the top end with their budget.

I also believe many Reading fans are pessimistic about their chances this season, some seem to think they'll go down.

You're not going to know much in August seeing as the season will only just have begun.

I'll have a pretty good idea by looking at your squad.

Great point there JJH. Did you predict Leicester would be champions of England after looking at their squad in August last year?

If you listen to the rumours, according to the Birmingham Mail, we're just going to buy Reading. Linked with Robson-Kanu, just released from them. Tshibola, Danny Williams, and Chris Gunter. Nothing to do with Clarke being our assistant, I'm sure.

Also linked with Ravel Morrisson (he can fuck off, defines attitude problems, him) and we apparently want James Wilson (Man United) on loan.

Chris Gunter has a supposed £1m release clause and Danny Williams wouldn't demand too much more than that. Both have underachieved given how good they potentially can be and considering they play regularly for their countries..

Tshibola we've already rejected £2m from Norwich for and i'd hope we'd want at least £4m for. We should be building the team around him.

Our Summer has the potential to be spectacularly bad. Early signs not great. Only signing so far is a defender from the Dutch second division. Also linked with signing the player with the worst disciplinary record in the Eredivisie (Joey van den Berg) and a striker released by Leeds (Antenucci). Not the type of signings we'll need to stay up i'd imagine.

Thing is, reportedly, we have the money to meet your valuations of all 3 and have plenty of change left over.

Tshibola would be the only miss for me IMO.

Chris Gunter is just an average Championship full back, who we bought in with the intention of being good enough in the Prem. He's been here four years now and made little development.

Danny Williams will comfortably be our highest earner given he's the last one left who signed a contract under our previous owner. Given the fact that Norwood and Tshibola are better, and we also have Quinn, Evans and incoming van den Berg who can play CM, i'd not lose any sleep on him leaving. To me he's the ultimate 'jack of all trades, master of none'.
