Gayle will get at least 20 in this league and Ritchie 10-15. The cost subsidised with the sale of Townsend. I'd say it's fantastic business to be honest. Both Newcastle and Villa are starting well in terms of good signings. Now waiting for Norwich to make their move.

Norwich supposedly have matched our bid for Sergi Canos, so may not be long for them.

SERNWA back again, after being told about Kaciniclik on a wind up by my mate at club, which to be fair he had me on, despite him already being signed by Nantes.

Some concrete info, Anthony Forde has signed from Wallsall, bid has been increased for Bradshaw and a large bid for Lee Gregory has gone in.

Tony Stewart is going for it.
When's Commons getting announced?

He's got some bridges to build in Rotherham hasn't he?

Yeah, but I wasn't speaking about us, and you dodged my question.

Matt Ritchie is far too good for the Championship. Seems an odd move for both us and the player (Not sure why at 26 he'd want to drop a level), but a great move for Newcastle. He'll put a hell of a lot on a plate for Mitrovic and Gayle to attack.

£12m is an absolute fuck-ton, but considering the money Newcastle pissed away last summer this seems a very low-level gamble, no doubts he'll deliver and no doubts they'll get promoted.

We've actually paid a fee for him and given him an a three year deal.

What a way to kill any optimism the fans might have for this season, wasn't going to get a season ticket anyway but unless I get a freebie or someone is selling one cheap, i'm not paying money to attend games at Deepdale this year. We play rancid football, with rancid strikers like Eion Doyle missing chances for fun.

I honestly can't remember a PNE signing i've been angrier about, even when we brought back Lee Trundle from non-league and loaned Anthony Elding from fucking Grimsby.

Happy with that signing. Thought he looked good towards the end of the season as an option from the bench.

There's nothing to be pessimistic about, I already know he's fucking garbage, Jordan Hugill started ahead of him which says it all, absolute disgrace we've paid money for him.

I wonder if that Doyle signing suggests that Taylor has made his decision on who to join and it isn't PNE. Either way I hope so because we need a striker and I'm sick of waiting for him to pick a club. Get on with it so we can move on to another target!

Surely not...
£22m combined for Ritchie & Gayle.

In other news, Huddersfield have signed a defender from Germany for a club record breaking fee of £1.8m.

I wouldn't be, he wouldn't sign for us as he wanted to get back to the premier league and we were unlikely to get promoted, Newcastle however odds on for it.

Wow, would still be surprised if he agreed terms and actually signed.
Who? Gayle or Ritchie?

Both are likely to receive more wages at Newcastle, will be playing for a bigger club and will probably be back in the PL the season after next.

Seems Norwich haven't yet made a bid for Canos, just the rumour they're interested is stalling him on signing for us.
