Damian McCrory and Lucas Akins two of our stalwarts over the last few seasons have both signed 2 year contracts to stay at the Pirelli stadium.
Great news for us fans and great for squad continuity. Nobody else has probably ever heard of them but personally I am very happy they have decided to continue their careers with the Albion.

John Gudetti and Vincent Aboubakar linked, all dependant on this takeover.

Remember Lucas Akins on one of the old football manager games for Tranmere, sold him for about 5m to Norwich

We are looking for 7 figures so good luck with that...

You won't get a million for him, the question is how close to that figure will you get.

We've offered in excess of 500k for Gregory, so we'll see what our next is for Bradshaw.

The board has said many times we want 7 figures.

If no-one wants to pay that then I am delighted!

They might say that but if we rock up tommorow with 750k (what we've offered for Gregory) then I don't see em turning it down.

Conor Washington - Age 24, 27 goals in 82 appearances - moves to QPR for £2.5-3.5m

Tom Bradshaw - Age 23, 34 goals in 70 appearances - moves to Rotherham for £250k?

He's out of contract next summer yes, but to be honest, I'd rather turn down anything up to £750k-£1m for him and take a risk that the 20 odd goals he will score next season, will help us sufficiently to keep him/get him to extend his deal/or just be successful and lose him for £0.

Either way, £250k is utterly laughable.

They turned down more than that from us in January, I wouldn't count on it.

Completed the signing of Joey van den Berg yesterday. Have to say the more I read about him the more encouraged I am. Thought it was just going to be a useless signing at first. Seems to fit the English leagues style and coming from Holland he can probably pass the ball OK. Hard to judge the quality of football over there, but I wouldn't have thought the Eredivisie to be much worse (if any) worse than the Championship, and he was playing for a decent side there.

Now we need to go big on a striker.. still think if we don't sign any proven goalscorer we're as good as relegated.

I wouldn't be, he wouldn't sign for us as he wanted to get back to the premier league and we were unlikely to get promoted, Newcastle however odds on for it.
Sorry Hodge, I meant Ritchie. I agree with you about Gayle though.

Sorry if i'm being blind but I don't think 250k was mentioned.

Who? Gayle or Ritchie?

Both are likely to receive more wages at Newcastle, will be playing for a bigger club and will probably be back in the PL the season after next.
As mentioned I mean Ritchie, sorry for the confusion, should've worded it better.

£200k we paid for Eion Doyle, i'd rather Hemmings invested that in another horse.

So, Norwich are the first to express an interest in Gudmundsson.

That's great value. Said I'd be disappointed if we'd paid more than £300k so delighted with that.

Why? when he's going to be sat on our bench for 3 years?

Hugill, yes Hugill was preferred over the heap of shit.

The bid wasn't 250k.

250k upfront plus add ons.

You'd take that risk, your owners may not.

Kieran Agard scored 26 goals in 55 games for us at that level from the wing at 22/23 and went for 750k.

For every Washington there's an Agard

How much do you reckon it'd take?

They've been linked with Canos, Clough and now Gudmundsson. Not sure why they'll need all of them, so hope from our POV the Canos link is purely speculation.

If you believe Stockhausen (yes I know...) then he believes there was no solid interest rather Canos' agent picked up on some chat picking up speed online or something and wanted to see if there was substance to it.

I have no idea with this mob in Charge.

He's a proven goal scorer in this division, is playing in a side who have just made the quarter finals of the euros and has three years left on his contract.

I'd be disappointed with anything less than 4-5 million in this market.

How can I provide proof? What do you want to see?

We bid £1m, upfront fee on deadline day in January. It got turned down. Absolute fact.

So Tom Bradshaw is apparently worth 250k + add ons, but were talking 7 figure fees for Jonson Clarke Harris?

I know who'd I rather have...

It's not though is it, not one shred of evidence to support that.

Various Journo's and people close to our club have tweeted our bids for Bradshaw and Gregory for a start, articles all over.

Yet none when you bid £1m for him?
