Blackburn have replaced Duffy with Derrick Williams from us. Ark at small clubs like Leeds and Blackburn signing our cast-offs eh?

Aren't Wolves in the process of bidding £3m-£3.5m for Mawson... who has less than five appearances above League One level.

Defenders, with age on their side, and who've got decent Championship experience are relatively expensive. Fuck, we got £6m for Tarkowski!

£6 million? Not yet, you haven't.- quite a bit is add-ons for Premier League survival, number of appearances, England caps..etc. Same with Gray - basic £6 million rising to maximum £9 million.

We got £4m in total for those to upon your promotion; £3m for Gray, £1m for Tarkowski - as you say, more to come if you guys stay up this season. Fingers crossed. Also got a nice 27.5% sell-on clause (of profit) on the Gray transfer. Burnley were kind enough to provide the financial support to prevent us from failing FFP last year, and hopefully a Gray sale next season could dot he same ;)

Or not, he was "joking" now. Backtracking IMO, but it does seem strange. He said we'd sign a left back, and then the pictures emerged. Double bluff possibly?

Only two serious links at the minute as far as I'm aware. Palermo left back, Achraf Lazaar and Wolfsberg striker, Bas Dost. With the injuries we've got at the minute I would like another striker but I think we've done very good business thus far. Just hope we don't finish with a whimper and end up suffering after one or two injuries in certain areas.

That's what all the press have been saying, understandable really that I picked up on it... even you announced that you were linked to him a couple of days ago.

We've been linked with countless players, think it's just agents touting their players around for the best deal.

Also we have just signed Paul Glandon for 1.2m from Herceles.. meh

Think Dost joined some Turkish club.

And a stat to get the Derby fans salivating..

League goals for Reading last season:
Matej Vydra - 3 Goals in 31 Games
Nick Blackman - 11 Goals in 25 Games

Still waiting form Blackman to score his first goal for us. £3m very well spent.

£5m fee for Mawson apparently! Seems very high to me, not sure what he's done to deserve that kind of fee. Oh well - nets us a very tidy sell on fee. Should be just over £1m.

Mawson, another one we released from our academy..

After Charlie Austin too, I hope this doesn't become a regular thing.

Mawson is a huge loss, £5m or not. Can't stand in his way of playing PL football though. I'm just glad he wasn't sold to a divisional rival.

Murphy linked with Newcastle, with Adam Armstrong going the other way.
Unconfirmed reports that Murph has sold his house and took kids of out school....

Concerning... Armstrong is a completely different type of player. I'm not against cashing in on Murph as he's 33 but I don't see how we're going to adequately replace him at such short notice.

Craig Morgan has rejected personal terms with Sheff Utd. Becoming a joke this, can't seem to shift anyone out. No one wants to drop back down to L1.
