No he hasn't been fully fit since 2015 hence why I said that. Helps to read a post properly before replying.

Compare his legue one stats to Hourihane's though.

Frecklington - 13 goals in 49 games.
Hourihane - 11 goals in 53 games.

Been looking for assists but I'd bet a fair amoutn of money Frecks has more.

A 100% fully fit Frecklington is a far better player than Hourihane.

Far better... Hourihane has already equalled Frecklington's best ever season at this level, and we're only halfway through. Hourihane is sought after by two of the biggest clubs in this league, with real Premier League ambitions, while Frecklington has only ever attracted the attention of Peterborough and Rotherham.

Pack it in, you div.

Frecklington has never been fit since promotion, manages 15 games a season.

Leeds have tried to sign Frecks a couple of times and I'm pretty sure Wednesday made enquiries a couple of years ago too.

No club in their right mind would sign Frecks with his ongoing injury issues which will never go away, has similar problem to Kompany.

So like I said 100% fit Frecks which we saw in 2013/2104 is better than Hourihane. The stats how it.

How can you compare a guys stats from league 1 to the Championship?

That is like John Akinde scored 23 goals last season for Barnet in L2, does that mean he is better than Diego Costa who managed 12 last season for Chelsea?

A different example with the same theory intended, Harry Kane was on loan at Leicester and scored 2 goals in 13 games in 2013. In the same year Ishmeal Miller (Random example) scored 10 goals in 19 games for Yeovil. Both were in the Championship, does this make Miller better than Kane?

I compared Frecklington's league one stats to Hourihane's league one stats.

Again read a post properly.

I assure you I read it properly, maybe you could read mine properly as the 2nd example is identical to your post. Here, I'll simplify it for you...

Yeah course it does, at the time.

You won't and can't see a genuine comparison with Hourihane and Frecklington due to Freck's chronice injury problems which I've mentioned for the umpteenth time.

Also the comparison isn't as far off as you are making out.

Both were captains of a play off winning side playing in virtually every game the only difference is is that it was just 2 years apart.

Kieffer Moore from Forest Green Rovers is having a medical at Ipswich today. No idea what to make of that.

Still in for three other strikers, most likely Jordan Hugill, Danny Ward and Conor Washington.

No Johnson in our squad today, hopefully he's picked up a knock but saw a rumour on Twitter Villa have enquired about him. Hope it's bullshit.

Neither do we (know what to make of it). He is a decent player, and I wish him well, but I'm not sure that he is up to Championship standard. Maybe this is the new normal, teams scour the lower leagues for players, while all their stars fall for the lure of the Yuan and head for China.

Hogan on the bench today - no deal is that near but don't want to risk an injury on a game we'd likely lose. Sends a bad message to the rest of the team but it would be too much of a gamble for us to play him.

Freeman not in squad today, going to QPR supposedly. Best of luck to him.

Hogan didn't warm up once today, clearly the club had no intention of playing him, trying to send a message to West Ham perhaps but would rather just omit him from the squad entirely.

Danny Ward not in the squad.

Jerry Yates on his own up top.

Disgraceful from us.

Heard a rumour going around in ground that he's going to Ipswich for around 2.5 million which is why he wasn't in squad but it might be just bs.

Young Jerry did alright though and if he can carry them performances off with a few goals from now till end of the season then we got a huge asset there valuation wise.

I've actually never been impressed by Hourihane but his goal/ assist return is brilliant and he scores some stunning goals.

David Marshall has been quietly linked tonight, even his missus is getting in on the act on Twitter. If it is true then it'll guarantee safety for us imo.

The same Townsend you sold 6 months ago?

Yep, hence the laughing. He left due to PL opportunities (understandably). He now doesn't get played and has been linked with the Club that reinvigorated his career.

To be honest, I think he's exactly the type of player you were missing today (I know you won but you were very poor against a poor performance from us)

A direct and pacy runner

Poor performance from us?? We were excellent and if any team deserved to win it was us.

IMO both teams were pretty poor, we were far too slow and continually gave the ball away, but from the couple of chances we had should have had at least another goal.

From their side, they controlled large periods of the game without really getting many one on ones. Gayle was a menace before he went off, our defence kept backing off him.
