A host of trialists playing for us today. Anyone recognise either of these two?

five in total, seems like KMB has to be listed as one but is thought to be one of the five

Someone on RP has guessed that the lad at the top is Connor Johnson, ex Wolves u23, has been on loan at Walsall.and Kilmarnock and most recently been at Kettering (although I dont think he ever played before the season was cancelled)

Yeovil/Stockport fans, what’s Matt Warburton like? A couple of people on our forum seem to think he’s signed and will be announced on the 1st of August.

Great for us in the North to get us up. Got a move to Northampton in League Two which far too ahead of his level tbh. Not surprised he didn't hit it off there. I think this level it probably his mean. I wouldn't have him back here tbh as well liked as he is. Don't think he's quite on the level of the players we have now. It could be a decent pick up for you.

Was probably our best player in our NLN winning season but left for Northampton and was obviously not good enough for the football league and then was failing to get into Yeovil’s squad towards the end of his loan spell there which is worrying.

Plays as a 10 - I’d say he is more of a second striker rather than a creative midfielder. Excellent finisher and clever player but his lack of pace and power has probably held him back from being successful in FT football.

He was signed as a bit of a marquee signing, but he just didn’t fit into the way the team was set up. Didn’t live up to expectations but did show flashes of what he can do, scoring a few from outside the box.

I remember them signing him and he was tipped to be quality.

Devon Lad has reappeared on the League 2 forum if you get bored.
When I kept pulling him up on all the lies that he told and all the contradictory posts he has put he put me on ignore rather than try to explain himself.

Figured out some of our trialists from tonight:

Will Calligan
Chris Taylor
Jamie Cooke
Gerry McDonagh
Ben Carlton
Raul Correia

Common theme amongst the majority of them. Either failed players at this level or completely unproven kids.

Gerry McDonagh!! Wow haven’t heard that name in a while. Joined us on loan a couple of years back, had an absolute blinder on his debut, then turned out to be one of the worst signings I can remember us making. Seemed to have a terrible attitude and offered very little (albeit in a terrible team).

McDonagh should be in the shit strikers thread by now.

Although still a young lad, he’s had a million clubs down here and not really done anything of note at any of them.

Still at it. Even the other Exeter fans seem to dislike him. Tory tool.

Tranmere have a couple of young strikers who will probably be loaned out. Need to be toughened up so the NL is perfect for that. Charlie Jolley (no relation to your ex manager) and Jake Buxton.

Hiram Boateng is far too good for this level.

Remember Hiram Boateng being quality for Exeter a few years ago, think he followed Tisdale to MK. Can’t see him dropping down to this level, but you never know

No idea why this has appeared twice. Bloody technology.
