Just read on Facebook that we’re linked with Scott Rendell….. there’s SURELY no truth in that
We have enough backroom staff to sink a boat, it cannot possibly be true that he would sign as a player. Must be a wind-up.

Craig Clay being heavily linked with us, along with Callum Guy (still) and *gulp* James Norwood
Haven't heard the Clay rumour but he would allow us to push Davies into the 10.

Some bloke in the Maesgwyn on Saturday was certain we're going to be putting a 50k bid in for Lemonheigh-Evans from Torquay, Can't see it myself and don't think 50k would get him anyway

I dunno, Torquay seem to let anyone go- they sold off the majority of last years good players for peanuts why not him?

Would be a good signing.

Tottenham linked with Charlie Sayers. A couple of million should do it

Don’t think they sold anybody it was just most of their best players were out of contract in the summer.

Tough to off load though, when Canvey Island and Concord Rangers have better players than you.
Closer to reality than you thought Stoney LOL. Ollie Kensdale from Concord Rangers unofficially confirmed as our first permanent signing, would be a good acquisition for us.

I’d like us to go after that Lemonheigh-Evans chap but alas, he’s a double-barreler.

that was careless
You dont know Torquay United very well do you? :D In fairness, they were waiting to see if we got promoted to the EFL or not before deciding, although all but one signed for other teams in the NL. Money init.

You'll all like this one, red passion is going crazy over a rumour that Mullin has a £1m release clause, and Nottingham Forest have matched it.

I mean… wouldn’t they have just signed him for free in the summer?

They had a different manager in the summer. Their current manager started his coaching career with us.

I am choosing to believe it's bollocks as the alternative just makes me sad.

Mullin going for £1m???

That’s Tshimanga’s price tag gone up another million then… £6m before we even get into a conversation about it

Pretty sure their manager doesn’t really sign the players, unless they’ve totally changed the set up for Cooper.

Although they’re absolutely chaotic and badly run enough to spend £1m on a non-league striker they could’ve had for free a few months ago.

Patterson not in the squad for Sunderland’s pizza trophy game tonight, with their injured ‘keeper back. Suggests he’s going back out on loan, hopefully here!

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. They only have two strikers, Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor, the former is nearly 34 and the latter no-one really rates

I know mate, It's almost like that it's a big joke that Tshimanga is gonna go for £7M. Surely they aren't serious?
In all seriousness no one bar Ipswich, Sunderland and Wigan are even paying a Transfer fee
Tshimango aint no Vardy and he more than likely will stay in the National league unless Chesterfield come up

If Mullin were to join Forest it would create a space in the Wrecsam squad for Norwood. Those two weren’t supposed to work as a pairing up front at Rovers, though we saw little of them in action together.

This is my thinking, I'd assume that if Mullin to Forest is a done deal then Norwood coming here is also finalised. A far more realistic prospect than Wootton or Tshimanga unless those 2 have release clauses.

If they are worried about relegation then £1m for someone to maybe score a few goals to keep them up will be worth it.

I'd be surprised if he goes though, he's both of the owners golden boy so it's going to look really bad if he leaves after 6 months. I do think he could probably cut it at Championship level but imagine he'd be a rotation player.

Norwood rumours are getting stronger.

All players mentioned are not fit to lace Grabban boots......why would they go for a inferior player?

I would be very surprised if Mullin doesn't have some kind of release clause, although it is probably reliant on the club meeting certain target's like promotion this season, or being in a certain position when the window is open and also probably only applies to clubs at a certain level.

Him going to Forest for a Million in January is definitely plausible, but I would think it more likely that we appease him by spending big on the squad (Including his mate Norwood) and have an unspoken agreement that if we don't go up this season we will let it happen in the summer.

If we don't go up this season then I doubt he will be here for the next.
