Both teams will be playing after putting in huge efforts in the FA Cup. Could be down to who recovers the better. We’ve had an extra day after Man City on Friday.

Absolute toss of a coin job, this one. Think our new giant CB will get his debut, Payne will still be out injured and hopefully the Divine Ponytail is OK after hobbling off with cramp.

We are now bottom of the form table. I think we topped it 6 games ago.
No doubt about it, we simply must beat Scunthorpe. In Zanzala we trust.

Hopeful of the Mansfield game going to ET yesterday but not to be. As a general rule we've done pretty well over the last few years at FM. Four points from the next two games will be ideal, however, I'm hopeful that the carrot of going into the promotion places with a win will suffice

Never realised your recent form is so poor. Why?

Hopefully Swindon have a really physically tiring game ahead of our encounter on Saturday. Draw would be ideal between them and Mansfield.

Think Saturday should be a good spectacle, I can see there being a fair few goals in it at least. Once we warmed to the task yesterday we looked good despite the final score and now got minutes in the legs of Wilson after a long time. I’d go straight for it and try him and Harratt up front. He did very well yesterday and I think he’s earned the start.

Our RB Kaine Kesler Hayden has been recalled by Villa. Our stand out performer v Man City, although, strangely, our best performances have been when he’s been out either through suspension or England duty. FGR away being a case in point.

Probably coincidence.

A week to recover from the FA Cup efforts, although a gutting loss there should be some confidence that we bagged four against a (poor) Championship outfit. Could do with some points here, hopefully we will be more of a threat up top with the two new strikers.

I feel like I was lied to by a Crawley fan (the Crawley fan) who assured me it should be an easy win for us, but there they are with three wins on the trot. Crafty creepy southerners.

that the guy who got sent off against us? Sounded like he was one of your better players on that day.

3-0 Salford. Not double jabbed so it means I can't go. Finally, some good news.

Battle involving two of the form teams on Tuesday at Salford. Think I'd settle for a point, we are still a bit covid-depleted. Won't be able to get to either that (sell out) or our home game at Rochdale which follows.

At least if your not going to Salford that means we’re in with a chance of winning………or have you broken your away game jinx yet?

Injuries to key players including getting over Covid, and a difficult set of fixtures, including FGR, Sutton, Northampton and Tranmere

It’s quite sobering to see us sitting at the bottom of the form table and as Denzel says, we have to beat Scunthorpe on Saturday. Anything else isn’t good enough and I’d happily take a scrappy 1-0, with the winner off Myles Hippolyte’s arse.

Afraid not, so if any Rovers fans are planning on going to Crawley, be warned I'm hoping to make that game.

38 quid to go on the coach to Exeter. if you'd planned in Advance you might have got it cheaper on the Train.

I've just got my ticket for the Bristol Rovers game, and I look forward to visiting my favourite English city for a few days this weekend. I'll raise a glass to the Colston Four on Friday night before heading to the Mem for what is (I think) my seventh visit. I've yet to see us win. I was at the original match in 2001/02 (abandoned after 12 minutes) but unable to make the midweek rearranged match that we won, and I was down the road in Minehead watching bands as we won there in 2006. A win is overdue. On this season's away form it's also unlikely.

There's more than me here.

The win at Northampton was a smash and grab. Though its always nice to win 0-1 but the Cobblers were cobblers in front of goal and shoulda coulda woulda had 3 or 4 on another day.

We are gradually getting some of our injured players back. Sam Matthews had his first start since the first game of the season and Jordan Tunnicliffe was seen warming up with the team (he hasn't played since being injured on the opening day). Still no word on Tyler Frost, Grego-Cox is building up minutes after near on two years out and Tsaroulla played in a behind closed doors friendly. If we manage to get a nearly full squad out we are capable of beating anyone....losing too...but every step forward is met by one step back. The latest is our top scorer, Appiah, is injured and Francillette pulled up with what appeared to be a hamstring injury on Saturday!

We are there to be shot at.

Think we'll pump scunthorpe 6 or 7 nil. We've been playing well the last 2 games but it just hasn't materalised. Lady luck is surely due to come our way.

It’ll be tough after saturday and we’ve yet more injury issues. we’ve been on great form in general and hope we can keep this going.

We never do quite get things right with swindon though, the game at their place saw a blatant goal disallowed (still don’t get how they missed it!) and even more blatant penalty not given but that’s how it was going for us earlier in the season.

Is Hawkins likely to play as a CB or a striker tomorrow? We've signed a giant CB on loan from Palace who I expect to make his debut and it will be interesting to see what players were affected from the rigours of chasing Man City about for 90 minutes on Friday night. Should be a decent game and someone on our forum has just pointed out its a 7:30 kick off for some reason.

I’d imagine CB that’s where he started saturday and o’toole is questionable as we don’t know if he will be staying with us or not.

We’re also a little lost as to why it’s 7-30, odd tbh.

We’d only be 2 points behind you with a win,
