Are we safe to post this? All games going ahead, I think?

AFC Wimbledon v Northampton Town
Barrow v Doncaster Rovers
Crawley Town v Stockport County
Grimsby Town v Gillingham
Harrogate Town v Salford City
Hartlepool United v Crewe Alexandra
Mansfield Town v Carlisle United
Rochdale v Leyton Orient
Stevenage v Newport County
Swindon Town v Sutton United
Tranmere Rovers v Bradford City
Walsall v Colchester United

The Queen died at quite an inconvenient time for the Mariners. Bang in form having put in our best performance of the season so far with three away wins and a draw in the last four, six unbeaten in the league, top 10 with a game in hand and I think we were feeling confident of getting our first home win of the season against Crewe. As it stands, we've still only played twice at home so it's a bit of a blessing that we had back to back home matches anyway. I'm more wary of Gillingham than I was of Crewe, purely because Gillingham's form has been so bad that it might just be one of those matches where they're motivated to the point that they're well up for it and impossible to break down. Cue the Gillingham fans saying there's absolutely no chance of that before they beat us 1-0. We've all seen this pattern countless times before.

Hopefully put in a better performance at Tranmere than we did last season. The same scoreline, but in our favour. 2-1 City.

Going to have a stewards inquiry into this.
Getting paid to miss pools play, Its not on.

Aye, would always bang holidays in for midweeks, even when we were total shite, it’s just apathy these days, can’t be arsed with the lot of them.

Stunning work from the authorities to decide Saturday games are disrespectful but Tuesday is all good!

Only positive I can see is it’s another few days fitness for Khan/Maher. We were brilliant against Newport so hopefully we can take that into this one, I’ve still no idea how good we are yet.

Will be interesting to see who makes the bench, I’ve certainly not seen us have such a strong squad in probably 20 years and some good players are missing out.

We really are that bad, this is the worst squad in recent history I can safely say gillingham will have nil

We'll be without Jamie Devitt in another fresh injury blow.

People will question our training methods, or whether we're taking too many chances on players with past injury issues, but it does seem like we have had a lot of rotten luck with injuries too.

Just to add it’s also the longest period in the clubs history without scoring a goal (but I’m old enough to remember a slightly worse squad).

So we’ve got our best squad and you’ve got your worst.

We all know where this is going

Missed a game, a weekend off and my confidence comes flooding back....then I go over our performances and my confidence drains away.

The players we have we should win.

Also sounds like Ryan Edmondson will be out for another lengthy spell.

I actually think/fear this could be a bit of an eye opener for some of our fans.

I don’t think it’s registered with some just how bad we’ve been recently. Us clawing back that point against Rochdale and the fact we’ve had on the whole a favourable run of fixture has possibly papered over the cracks so to speak. We’ve been crap for weeks now. This will be our second test against on paper tough opposition, after falling well short in the first one against Stevenage.

With injuries and recent poor performances, I fear the worst. Mansfield have won every home game so far, and this should be their easiest one so far.

Mansfield Town 4-0 Carlisle United

A sobering result for a portion of our fanbase.

Tranmere (a) - said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m gutted this is on a Tues - again.

We never seem to do right well against The Trannies. Although, fond memories of David Wetherall heading in a last minute winner to a secure 5-4 victory in 2004.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Romoney Critchlow
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Alex Gilliead
CM: Ritchie Smallwood

RW: Scott Banks
CAM: Harry Chapman
LW: Dion Pereira

ST: Andy Cook

I’d like to think we’ll have a bit too much for them this season, so hopefully we come away with another win - and a clean sheet.

2-0 Cook and Oliver

I don’t really agree with this.
On paper we have an OK squad, though possibly a bit weak at the back, hence having to play a back 5.
It is a whole new squad who are still getting to know each other and the gaffer.
I am still reasonably confident that it will click and we will be fine.
I can certainly remember many squads inferior to this one.

Now, where’s that medication?

Historically we’ve been a bogey side for Dale, but Tuesday they’ll be the banana skin. In theory we should be too good for them but in practice I’m just waiting for everything to go wrong.

We try again..........Ruel Sotiriou and Theo Archibald wouldn't have been fit had we played Saturday but both have a chance of playing this week.

I'd imagine unless there are any other injuries it will be the same side who beat Tranmere ten days ago.

Not sure how Rochdale will fare under Bentley, but I found his Morecambe sides too unpredictable to bet on. Lose 7-0 one week, then beat the league leaders 1-0 in the next game. Capable of scoring goals, but also throwing a few in.

Remember that 4-5 game very well. Summerbee and Windass had exceptional games against what was then a very good Tranmere team.
The current Tranmere team is very much a work in progress, hence probably an away win. Home ticket sales for this fixture are worryingly poor.

Bradford fans seem quite confident for their trip to Wirral, but I’d say it’s a hard one to call. Rovers have played well in 3 out of 4 home games this season, while the Bantams aren’t the most consistent at present. It’s a given Cook scores at least once against us. Hopefully we stick with 442 and a midfield diamond, shouldn’t play with 3 central defenders until at least one of the left-footers back from injury. Sitting on the fence until I see the line-ups.

One thing I do expect is that Joel Lynch will still be out injured for us. We had one of those behind closed doors videos released and during all the practice games it showed you could see him watching from the sidelines.

Hopefully Francomb back fit as we do miss hi when he doesn't play but lawd knows how we will line up up top...except one will be Nichols.

We had a couple of doubts going into Saturday’s game so hopefully they will have recovered. We’ve also allowed 2 of our youngsters to go out on loan who have been on the bench so hopefully that means some of the injured are back. I still think Barrow will be too physical for us and expect a defeat.

You lot seem like you're still finding your feet a little bit this season going off results and the clips I've seen. Seem to be very hit and miss, so yeah I'm with you on this being a a tough one to call. I reckon you're in for a decent game with this one though.

We're not really a physical team - unless you're saying your team are a bunch of soft arses?
