Very good FGR win at Stevenage but will admit 3rd goal clearly looked off-side.
Can understand the Stevenage players getting a mite upset with referee, but silly of them to get yellow cards while discussing decision with him.

Great win for City. We would have lost that last season. We have struggled of late against big teams who play it long and Sutton did that very effectively in the first half. They also won about 1 million corners but fortunately did not know what to do with them. We came strong in the 2nd half by switching from 532 to 442 and deserved the win. Only lost once so far, looking promising this season

Think it was a #goodadvert for league 2 at sixfields yesterday. Indian Dan Agombar stool your mob played your part in making it a really good atmosphere
Yeah, decent, watchable game. Contrasting styles made for a good match up. Probably got away with a point - but we could just as easily won it. I’ve said before, I’m not overkeen on our style - too much pointless passing and not enough physical presence. But from where we were only a few weeks ago I suppose I’m happy enough.

If nothing else, the ownership wrangle has energised the fan base. Got to build on that, though, and not let the momentum drift away.

Me and my mates discussed the same about your passing, I think you looked more dangerous when you turned us or got it wide quickly. Think your two best chances came that way (the header and the shot saved by the keepers legs)

It’s been the same every game this season. First half we look pedestrian and try not to concede, second half we look more on the front foot and create a bit. God knows what the thinking is behind that but it can’t be a coincidence that all the games follow that pattern. One goal scored in 8 first halves tells the story.

Only watched the nine-minute highlights but I think we must have a much clearer idea of the best starting XI. Flynn said Tuesday was so poor some had played themselves right out of the squad. Couple of injuries and possibly a third, but apart from that two midweek starters didn't even make the bench.

Our lot were nervous from the off, can’t blame them after 4 losses on bounce, thought a point was about right.

Disastrous individual mistakes again costing us.

Bad news is just hitting us constantly at the moment, within a few days we’ve lost James Perch for the entire season while our two deadline day defensive signings are both out Nartey could be 8 weeks!

I'm clinging onto a little hope after yesterday's performance. The patterns of play were not there and the defence was very nervous, launching it long when they should have played square passes. However, they seemed to cut out a lot of the crap defending and the whole team battled hard to get back into it.

However I didn't see the Rochdale goal. If it was another soft one then I may change my mind. I also didn't think that Rochdale did their homework.

I had a good day. Nice pint in the sun outside the Sixfields pub, large travelling support. We had the same immature dickheads that were at Stevenage but the stewards at Northampton were much more sensible. Allowing fans to allocate their own seats, offering the side section to elderly or families that might have wanted more space etc. When we scored they let fans stand in the stairwells and at the front in front of the seats, which I know technically is against regulations but the dickheads would have almost certainly have attempted to kick off had they been moved. One absolute troglodytes i saw had no interest in the game, he spent about 20 minutes just arguing with one of the stewards for absolutely no reason. I'm not even sure he knew where he was to be honest. He eventually got ejected. 2 of the kids threw a full bottle of coke and a full bottle of Fanta onto the pitch which I suspect we'll get in trouble for. To be fair our more mature fans told them to stop being nobs which hopefully eliminates that kind of pointless behaviour, it only shows the club in a bad light and gets us financially in the shit.

On the pitch I think it's potentially 2 play off chasing teams. We pass the ball well and have finally started to try and utilise Simpson running in behind. We were barely doing this before so if we can get a mix of short and longer passing working we'll be more of a threat. For cobblers i thought Koiki (who we had on loan before) was excellent and you were always dangerous from set pieces and crosses into the box. A point at a tough place to go, against a team physically superior to us is acceptable in my eyes. We need to kick on now at home to Colchester on Saturday.

I watched some highlights on Quest last night and had to laugh at the Salford player who got Spearing sent off going down in a crumpled heap in agony for literally about a second before jumping up and running to the ref to remonstrate with him, that is some quick recovery time from such an awful injury.

Oh and very nice goal from Worrall for Vale too.

And that worrall goal for vale has to be goal of the day in L2.....cracking strike.

Good win for us yesterday! against a walsall team who did'nt turn up until the second half, a scrappy goal to go 1-0 up and then should have been out of sight by ht but dolan has his penalty saved and walsall go straight up the pitch and score from their first attempt at goal,
second half was more even but we limited walsall to a couple of half chances and the closest they came was when dolan lobbed the ball onto his own crossbar, the header from clarke to win the game was a beaut and his reaction to the walsall fans was even better after the shite they gave him and cameron norman all game.so divine retribution for clarke, motm was walsalls keeper who made some excellent saves including one in the second half from telford that was world class and i see he is another product of the brighton academy, all said it was an entertaining game with a good atmosphere helped by the 500+ travelling walsall fans.

Soft? Gordon handed it to them on a plate, really shocking stuff.

Lol just watched it and that's horrendous. Personally I've no problem with the McLaughlin cross field pass. He has the skill to execute it and Gordon is in plenty of space. However, that is really terrible decision making from Kellan Gordon. I've said since Gordon first joined that he doesn't play with his brain and doesn't seem to understand the game. He's done little to change my opinion. I don't see the potential that others see.

There's plenty to improve in defence. However, I didn't think our centre backs were bullied yesterday which has to be a positive sign. They just need to do the basics really well since they are limited.

I thought he had a good game in the first half, got a few good tackles and blocks in, and then in the second half very generously to the Rochdale player, gets dispossessed for their goal.

I got arrested last night. Just been let out. It was the bairns fault. He chucked a brick through Wetherspoons as they wouldn’t serve him. I am disgusted by his callous and cowardly behaviour. I got arrested for possession of an ounce of weed and 20 G of coke. To be fair although the prison was not salubrious, I got a nice cup of tea and was let out for a fag.

Don't want to do weed and coke. One negates the other.

Helping daughter move into uni digs yesterday so no chance of following the football, life gets in the way sometimes.

A friend who lives near Colchester (Wivenhoe) went to the game and said Crawley fully deserved the win and it should have been more. I watched the highlights and saw Nadesan was unlucky not to score (again). Mind you, if he scored as many as he should we wouldn't have him.

First league goal for Payne for four (?) Years. Yems asked interviewer if he had been on the sherbets after asking the same question twice.

All's well with the world.

Missed the game completely, thank god.

Really not sure how long Barton can have left. Was checking BBC sport and when we scored a penalty I thought that might have bought him another game. Shame Orient couldn't have grabbed a 4th, that would have put the nail in the coffin IMO.

And to think, we could have suspended him without pay not so long ago - now we'll have to pay him off ffs

to be honest he should have gone after the match at Barrow - 1-0 up but couldn't beat 10 men and totally clueless tactically.

That was my turning point on his managerial ability tbh.

So ironic that it’s our only point on the road this season, god help us if we’d have played 11 men

I was WRONG, Matt on not offside.
Stop video at 1.26 and it shows Matt, at split second that ball was kicked, was level with defender.
Good goal

What's the best way of ploughing through all the L2 highlights, other than clubs' individual YouTube and Twitter accounts? Surely they're out there somewhere all gathered in one place....

Tel was happy for me to divulge as we are mates. I got him a move to Bath
Others include
Aaran Racine
Mark Preece
Sam Russell
JJ Hooper
Neil Grayson
Elliott Frear
Dale Bennett
Wayne Hatswell
Simon Clist
Eddie Anaclet
Paul Stonehouse who bit my mate in Cirencester

Only one player I cant divulge at FGR and thats because he grassed me up to the police. Nothing came of it because he was a lying manipulative twat but I have an NDA on me.
You can think I am chatting shit. It does not bother me. My life has gone downhill since then. I live in a dilapidated one room flat in an undesirable area and I have no money. I get on with it though
