Lost a tight but dull game against Newport, goal coming from a set play late on which was a needless corner we conceded.

Neither side in truth offered much, neither keeper worked much at all. Newport had the slightly better chances to be fair.

From our own perspective, we're very much a midtable side now at best. Our 2 central midfielders this evening were only 20 and only 5 of our starting XI were over the age of 24 and our inexperience and lack of nous at times shows, combined with that fact that we don't create chances anymore and are now well and truly a midtable team.

The losses of Tom James, Craig Clay, Theo Archibald and Darren Pratley (For this evening at least) has simply been too much for us to cope with. Along with the fact we don't have a striker to call upon off the bench who can make a proper impact.

As long as we can keep our heads above water this season and hopefully stay in the top half will be the aim.

As the others have said, how the fuck have we come away with anything there let alone won it? Sunday league level of football on show from us for the most part.

Wonder save from Bass and a shocking miss from Miller was the difference in the end. If he scored that in the first few minutes then we lose that easily.

Adams is getting some luck at the minute, shithousing these wins that we don't deserve but we drew games that we deserved to win earlier in the season so I suppose it evens out

Good 3 points. Bit of a scrappy affair but good win without Telford and Azaz. Didn’t really need to play that well against a very one dimensional and ordinary Orient side. Can’t recall Townsend having to make a save. Onwards v Barrow at home then I think 3 away on the bounce. Won’t have too many away games left after this run.

Deserved more tonight but if you have a striker who cant finish his dinner what chance have you got wonder save from the Bradford keeper as well Cook did what Cook does as the kind of striker we need with our formation not a George Miller.

Miller only likes playing against Mansfield it seems!

Hope Mansfield absolutely cane us 6-0 because we need something to wake us the fuck up.
If Jackett starts Kyp again I'll have a word when they get back on the coach after the defeat because that will be unforgivable.

Time for Cooper to stand up and face the music. Blamed every man and his dog so far this season, as if nothing has ever been his fault. We are going to get relegated eventually if we keep chopping and changing managers and I'd rather we didn't again but something seems seriously wrong in recent weeks.
You have got more chance of walking on Mars than you have of Cooper admitting he has made a mistake. It`s just not in Mr Bitter`s DNA not to blame somebody else for his cock ups.

We haven't been comfortably dispatched this season, talking the likes of 3 or 4 nil. Saturday is where it happens.

At risk of stating the bleeding obvious there are really no excuses for us not to put Scunny to the sword on Saturday. We’ve had a few games since our break now and really need to start putting the foot on the accelerator.

We looked a bit more solid defensively against Orient last time out without really threatening ourselves. Hopefully Worrall will have come out of isolation since then and that should help a bit.

He was until Keates went as manager then he literally downed tools and we went down hed scored 18 by the end of february didnt score again after that which was around when keates was sacked had a bust up with fans after one game as well lol he wasnt being singled out but reacted.
I thought Cook was decent for Walsall though? Not a player you think would warrant such harsh treatment.

This is even better...

Scunthorpe is a massive game for us really and need to win this or we will get left behind. A win here puts us back in the mixer.

Injuries who knows who’s available? We had a bench of 5 and quickly lost Gibbons! Hopefully Worrall is back from covid and no one else has it.

Hopefully a couple of new signings in time for this which we probably need, have to see what the situation with Conlon is also.

The Vale game will go like every game does.

Look ok for the first part of the game, give away a goal due to poor defending and collapse. Depends how good Port Vales finishing is to decide how many they win by.

If it’s like it was against Salford we could probably batter you and not score and get hit by a sucker punch! Hopefully Wilson is closer to being up to speed.

Any Carlisle fans feeling optimistic ahead of our visit on Saturday?
I’m optimistic that it won’t be 4-0 again. Despite being stuffed last week, I wouldn’t expect us to lose by 4 at home.

I’m expecting a relatively comfortable Sutton win, 1 or 2-0.

So how many supporters do you think you will bring to the mill on Saturday.

Vales record against scunny is pretty poor.
Beating them is not a given.
Our form is grim.

We have sold over 7,500 tickets for Saturday, so heading towards a 10k gate. It seems there might be a bigger than average following from FGR as well.

You've beaten us 17 times, we've beaten you 16 times. Not sure how that constitutes as a poor record.

Fantastic.
Will be the biggest crowd of season at Prenton Park this season.
But will it match attendances in your promotion year when FGR was once again the best attended game.
In fact that year FGR attracted largest league attendance: - 9,468that was bettered a month later in play-off with 9,579.
Seems the Tranmere faithful look forward to visit of FGR.

If you come and play the shithouse stuff it will be a feisty place. Your team will not get a nice welcome but your supporters will. No reason for any animosity towards any of you.
If you haven't been converted to the vegan thing yet the hotdogs will do the trick. Avoid.
