Over 6000 home tickets sold already for Saturday. Looking like it will be an 8000 + gate. The hoards of travelling fans will obviously help add to the number as well.

Hearing covid and injuries have decimated us for tonights trip to orient, we will put out some sort of side but god knows what it will be as the best of our youngsters are all out on loan, i can only imagine rowberry and hatswell will be taking their boots with them.

Well we played with our youngest back line vs Swindon so you might have a chance. We dont keep many clean sheets

They did look very jittery at times.

If we win at Tranmere then I’ll start feeling pretty confident we’ll be going up.
I posted way back when we drew with Tranmere at the CG that whoever finished ahead of them would win the league. No reason to change my mind now.

Our CB Connolly that gifted Simpson the ball for his goal is on loan from Cardiff, and that was his first ever league appearance.
Defence is definitely our weakness

Nah fraid not we are looking at the next 2 games as winnable to start the promotion push
You will get chances tonight, just depends if you can put them away (or beat Belly which is a task in itself)

Tranmere average gate this season is 6,534 so still away from that number.
BUT if there are 8,000 plus at Prenton Park on Saturday that would be Tranmere's largest crowd of season and above the 7,728 v Walsall at 1st game of season.
And if that should happen, what a coup for a village team from the rural Cotswolds.

It is tuesday. We had sold less on friday for the Rochdale game. They had 500+ of 7000. The Walsall game was the 1st back in 16 months for most and Walsall brought a good amount.
Showing ambition in signing players has helped.
Mark and Nicola Palios must have won the lottery, or the Indonesians are being generous.
How many can we expect from you.

Normally on a Tuesday before a Saturday game we have sold around 4000, the majority of those being ST holders . Most of the sales are Friday and Saturday morning. Therefore if we are on 6 at this stage we are 2 thousand ahead of normal. With no PL games this weekend I`ll be very disappointed with a less than 8 thousand crowd even allowing for Forest Green`s poor away support and our over complicated online ticketing system.

Ouch! Hoping for similar luck to the Rochdale game: My iFollow cut out with twenty five minutes left.

I just get my brother in law to sort mine. Saves shouting at my phone. It is very annoying if you want more than 1 ticket.

Seems strange that people expect a small club with an average home attendance of about 2k to take thousands to away games.

Yeah, we take about ten percent of our home gate which is pretty par for the course. Plus of course most of Tranmere's extra two thousand ticket sales will be Scousers crossing the river to see us.

Salford at home for us and we rarely beat Salford - in fact I can only remember us beating them once 3-2 in the season they got promoted...
If we played like we did at Colchester we might win - but if we play like we did on Saturday we won't.....
a draw won't be the worst result as it would put us above Carlisle who everyone (well HG) knows are already relegated... an unexpected win could put us 17th.

Nobody expects you to take 4 figures away. Just a reasonable % of your support when you are well clear at the top.

Vernam and Sutton benched. Gillishit and Threlkeld start. Enjoy your three points, Walsall.
