Is the Wednesday v Bolton game on TV as it’s a bit strange they’ve moved it to Friday otherwise?

For our game I hope Burton stay up and the way things are playing out am pretty certain they will now. Be a bit harder than the first game when they were in the dying embers of JFH time in charge but would like us to pick up our first double of the season here.

Don’t think it is. It was originally moved due to the Pigs having home game on the Saturday but that’s also been rescheduled.

They'd switched to the Friday in January when we clashed so it was our turn

They looked very solid today, we didn’t play well but they scrapped hard and were worth their win, I certainly wouldn’t take them for granted.

Seems daft that the fixture 'computer' can give dates when both sides are at home.

Second week running we've got the least interesting match in the division. We are definitely safe now but I still expect us to fill the away end

That makes sense regards the Friday then. We have the same when there’s a fixture clash with the shit though as there’s obviously a lot less people occasionally they let us play the same day. Shame as that would have been a decent watch.

Yeah they’ve certainly improved under Maamria. Not sure if his team plays like his old Stevenage one did as some of our fans will just love that shithousing…

Plymouth away. Looking forward to it already, should be an exciting game with lots of goals at both ends.

Shrewsbury at home. I’d expect us to win albeit Shrewsbury are a decent side from what I have seen. I won’t be there though as am at Cheltenham for the week for the racing.

For those who like a bet, Gaillard Du Mesnil I’ve been backing for the NH Chase on Tuesday for 9 months. If he wins I’m hoping to be drunk all the way through until I’m home Sunday. Town will hopefully get the 3 points in my absence.

Do you mean the end we are defending in the first half, followed by the end we are defending in the second half?

Ours is a 1pm KO. Posh usually sell-out but they've put tickets on general sale.

After our record of never losing when we score first ended yesterday, the two to look out for on Saturday is the end of our unbeaten home record and we haven't lost back to back league games this season either.

Peterborough play midweek too, so hopefully Burton beat them up and theres a few sendings off

Charlton pulling out pants down next weekend then. Even if it’s shit getting fucked every week, it’s nice to know who the perpetrator is.

Huge test against the best squad in the league*

They'll have one eye on Wembley and be worried about picking up knocks but they'll be mindful they dropped to sixth.

Should be a good and a decent crowd before we face 3 games away on the spin

Yesterday we lost to MK Dons who hadn’t won on a Saturday all season beforehand. It’s March ffs.

We also lost to Mk Dons (albeit a midweek fixture).

If we win next Saturday it’ll be because you were more shit than us, we certainly won’t be pulling anyone’s pants down.

Wednesday might put 2 or 3 past us, players have gone soft since getting to Wembley in a shitty cup

You did, until 2026. Nice little pay-out for him when he’s inevitably binned a month or two into next season.

Was he originally under contract only till end of season? Has it improved under him? Doesnt look like it from afar!

Yep. With their home form and our form in general it could get a bit ugly.

Shrewsbury's form recently looks rather indifferent.

Another must win, and I think we will. Should be too strong for them, especially at home.

Looking forward to Exeter at home on Saturday - after our league game against them at Whaddon Road, which was one of only two we attended in the 20/21 season.

A little bit of me hopes we properly shithouse our way to a 1-0 win like we did at St James Park, if only to hear their lad on the My New Football Club pod cry his little eyes out again.

Did seem a very weird contract extension, I must say! Hardly seems to have made an impression since he's been with you (perhaps bar a short winning streak?).

Yeah, was only until the end of the season originally I believe.

We got a slight new manager bounce after his first couple of games and thank God we did otherwise we’d really be in trouble now.

He’s popular with fans because he says all the right things and buys beers etc on the way home from away games. Seems like a decision from an owner who’s not arsed either way as he’s not planning on being around much longer and to appease fans because they like him.

Whether he’s the right football man going forward, who knows? Like I said, until ownership troubles are sorted (hahahahaha, 10 years and counting) I can’t see anyone succeeding.
