Good saves from both keepers, other than that a bit flat.
I suspect Derby will improve second half.

Can't see anything other than a comfortable home win despite the sacking of their manager - we've been absolutey bossing things at PR now for a months. 4-0.

Still expect us to win this - Port Vale are gunna be dead on their feet - could be the kind of game where we introduce Edwards a little earlier.

I'm not concerned just yet.

A pleasant evening so far for us with the sides below all drawing or losing - apart from Vale, wtf is happening there :eyes:

Can’t see it’s overly undeserved, we’ve defended like trojans and had a couple of sniffs, corking hit from Mal Benning.

If we’d put this effort in the last few weeks we’d not be in this situation.

Young Planty is having a corking game, goal saving challenge.

Fucked if any of us know either to be honest.

It won’t last but I knew this team would go and do this and give us some hope before taking it away.

For all the Ipswich possession, they haven't made Stone make a save yet. At least we've put in a bit of effort.

Lino appears to be on Wycombe’s payroll (or Oxford, or MK Dons!)
Second goal was yards offside.
Mind you, we deserve to be behind after failing to slot three one-on-ones and not defending their free kick for the first.

Tbf to Port Vale, we can't say they don't deserve it. Defended really well and taken the opportunity well too.

Now a frustrating 2nd half for us, trying to break through. Think Hirst needs to come on.

No idea how the game is going but yeah you most likely will go on to win should you score in the first 15-20 minutes in the second half.

Fairplay to Vale so far though, hopefully that Vale fan had a Salop & Vale double as apparently we’re not playing too badly. I wouldn’t know myself though as I’m in all the way in Spain.

Just seeing the stats on iFollow we’ve had 27% possession. As I say it’s the most pointless stat in football. Going to be a tough act to keep up for another 45 though.

Stone needs to tone it down with the time he’s taking on goal kicks having picked up that yellow. Will be a red waiting to happen.

yeah, I couldn't see the angle from the replay and Wheeler obviously thought he was offside as he turned round to the ref straight away to see if the goal stood or not.

But unfortunately decisions like that often don't go in your favour in a relegation dogfight.

Shame (in a way) as you've looked well up for it and were creating a lot, Knibbs in particular playing very well.

The result won't do us any good whilst Peterborough are winning though.

I'm sure you won't give up in the second half and I expect us to have to weather the storm, but of course there's a danger of you conceding more if you've got to chuck men forward.

Cracking goal for them to be fair. Nice while it lasted anyway.

I don’t think it was offside.

Anyway we’re back in it now.
