According to Caldwell we could be without Nombe, Stanno, Mitchell, Scott, and Sweeney. Our only striker is an 18 year old who was playing for Bath three weeks ago.
Should be fun!
May as well give Wednesday the points now. At least it’ll keep the pressure on Argyle.

MK Dons at home and another battle on our hands as they fight for league 1survival. We almost have a full squad to pick from and even Mendes Gomez might make an appearance
I think we can just about win this 2-1

Accy at home. Likely to be a very disinterested crowd going through the pub-match-pub motions. Some may decide to make it pub-pub-pub instead.

Big game for Stanley though. 1-1 (Raggett 34 mins, header from a corner)

You're optimistic thinking there'll be goals. I'm thinking of just staying in the pub!

0-0.

Wycombe for us, who we seemed to do ok against pre-Ainsworth but not at all when Ainsworth was there. Not sure if their style has changed since he left but either way it'll be a tough test and a game they need three points from.

Rushworth will be back after his one game ban and we're hopeful Mandroiu and House will recover having sat out Tuesday's game they're three big players to have back, the latter two giving us a bit of something up front.

Well I don't think anyone needs to tell Lincoln to sit back and chuck everyone behind the ball cos it's what you do anyway, but we're particularly bad at breaking that kind of team down, so it's absolutely the right tactics to use.

Regardless of the result tomorrow, I suspect we'll be officially on the beach come 5pm.

Hopefully they take the effort from Tuesday into todays game. Do that I think we’ll get what we need. Funso Ojo back today from his suspension so would imagine he will come straight back into the lineup. Will say 2-0 Vale with Matty Taylor scoring both. The problems may well come if we fall behind and a lot of the anger about DC getting sacked comes to the fore.

Good luck to Gloucestershire police today as well for the big one El Glosico! Shame Stroud seems to have gone off this forum could have had all sorts of (likely wrong) stats ahead of this one.

Well, Sweeney is playing so defence is OK, but he appears to be playing Key up front with Coley. Neither of which are number 9s. And midfield looks light too. Be amazed to get anything from this

We are playing our rookie GK today and also Gibbons who hasnt managed to cement a place in our team, at the expense of Hoole who has been great recently/

Same lineup for us as against Barnsley in the week, except Rushworth comes back in goal. Roughan in for Jackson.

House and Mandriou still injured, and players like Jackson, Oakley Booth and Wright who played midweek, not on the bench.

Hope we are competitive, but can see a home win.

Looks like we have a number of players left out - whether they are injuried, rested, told they have no place next season, who knows. Except for TJ Eyoma, all others on the bench are youngsters- 1 scoring a hatrick against Bolton U17s midweek. Should be good experience for them, will be interesting if they get any game time.

Someone has checked age of our subs:

Ages of our substitutes: 23, 20, 19, 19, 18, 17, 17.

Average age = 19 years, 0 months.

Looks like we're doing a Shrewsbury!

Here’s hoping Gibbo knows what to do… I’ve already resigned myself however to him scoring now though.

It will be his first goal if he does, apart from pre season. He might be a bit rusty though.

Love Gibbo but he scored what one or two for us? Will get a good reception. Another of Flitcrofts fuck ups offering a pay as you play.

Great set of fans Rovers in Tommies/Vale Social, good chat with a few of them, seem very much like our own fans, both hate sides in red and white of course and long suffering.

Happy with our line up, get the clamour for Plant but need to go strong as we can today and he put a lot in Tuesday for a 17 year old. His time will come.

I think that's ten unavailable, thank God that we're safe! Wycombe are probably not the best team to play against with probably the youngest squad of 18 in the EFL!

It sounds about right but he does have a bit of power behind his shots and we all know our keepers and shots from distance.

Regardless though as I say stick to our discipline and workrate and I think we will win today. We simply need it more than they do.

More importantly there’s a minutes applause on 16 minutes for Nick Anderton. After what he’s been through it does put a lot of stuff in perspective.

Agree. Horrible fucking disease. We win and lose points he’s lost a career and wish him all the best.

Exeter are more up for this than we are, which says a lot. Piss poor. If they didn’t have so many missing we’d be losing by now.

So I’m left with the overriding feeling they downed tools to get DC sacked. Hopefully we see the game out or better yet add to it but to say I’m seriously pissed off at the same time would be an understatement.

Can’t deny we downed tools when you see the effort and desire today. Happy with that but not getting DC the boot. Great goal from Ellis and smart finish from Pett. If Gavin Massey had an ounce of composure though it’s 4-0 and we are chilled out, blazing a virtual open goal over then fucking around a 1 on 1!

Need to keep it up and see it out.

Two massive chances for us in injury time first half to extend the lead. Boyes and Poole missing big chances

yup. If there's one team you don't want to give a shit early goal out of nowhere to, it's Lincoln.

Very solid at the back, everyone behind the ball until it's time to break, the tactics are exactly right and we're creating barely any genuine chances.

Of course we're going to be leaving gaps at the back to allow the counter, so the odds of us getting a draw here, let alone a win, are pretty dodgy.

Right now if all the scores stay the same I think MK are in serious trouble.

Derby at the other end of the table I think this is looking bad for them too.
