This ref is killing us tonight. They're taking forever on every throw in, goal kick and set piece. They're man handling us and he's giving nothing. They have players going down for the physio every 5 mins for a water break and to break momentum. I hate watching games like this. And now they have a lead to hold on to as well....

I’d expect you to turn it round even if it’s a bit of a coupon buster right now and more importantly a spanner in the works in the relegation fight. They’re a very streetwise team Accy and fair play to them they have to do what they have to do but it most definitely is frustrating when it’s against your own team.

What a goal for Plymouth. Rovers conceded off overhead kicks in successive games, can’t really legislate for that.

Oxford 2-0 up, looks like we still have work to do to be sure of safety.

We really are keen to make this as easy as possible for Oxford. Apologies to MK, Cambridge etc.

2-0 Plymouth, think this is pretty much means they are promoted now.

I was expecting Oxford to win so not surprised. But Bolton’s performance is disappointing.

Jesus fucking christ. They haven't won in about four years and we're playing like this. I don't care if we're on the beach, get off the fucking beach and put some effort in.

All 3 goals in this second half have been due to absolutely embarrassing defending. We have been shocking in this second half - absolutely shocking.

Oxford have wanted it more, but we haven't even bloody tried.

Cheltenham clearly thought job done after winning El Glosico. Nice goal on the fourth though looked a couple there making business decisions being reluctant to either close him down or make an attempt at a challenge.

3 points. Get in.
And a clean sheet which is surely worth another point please - especially when you have shipped 76 this season.

Oh fuck off Bolton, you bunch of useless pricks. And Cheltenham can do one too while we’re at it.

That was an absolutely disgusting performance - Oxford won't have an easier game all season. Fair play, they wanted it, but we made it oh so easy for them.

That’s a shocker from Bolton. Things look suddenly a fair bit trickier for them to make the playoffs now.

The ref absolutely shafted us there from the first whistle. 4 mins added on at the end when they've time wasted from the first minute. They wasted a minute and a half of that 4 minutes and he blew as soon as it ticked over 94. He was desperate for them to win. No cards or anything and they kicked the crap out of us...as Accy tend to do. Can't say i'm surprised by the standard of officiating anymore. Pathetic

We needed that, big time.

Cheltenham were really poor. I think their only shot on goal was on roughly 85 minutes.

My god it is cold tonight. Fair play to anyone playing to get in. Burton have got something over us this season, we didnt deserve to win, but it was a nothing game, should have ended in a draw. Thr scrapyist goal conceded. We huffed and puffed but final ball/ touch eluded us.

For some reason 7,600 odd there tonight.

Oxford safe now you’d think. They’ll win their last 2.

Loser of Accrington v Cambridge probably goes down.

We Could still need a point.

We still "just" have to beat Coleman/Accrington and get above nul pointes MK.

Then it'll be between Oxford and Accrington on the final day IF we beat FGR

Edit: Morecambe have got me worried again.

It should have ended in a draw. You are right. Both teams playing a typical end of season game with nothing at stake. Great crowd given what was served up.

More from Burton than i expected too. Little noise until went 1 up and then didnt shut up.

Defo a typical end of season game, no urgency.

Least we're both safe for another season at least

Despite the Robins being safe with three games to go, the head coach was adamant his side won't be taking their foot off the gas for the remaining matches.

"We've had two eyes on Oxford since the game ended on Saturday. The focus has been fully on Oxford, and you'll of seen that from the work that's been going on at the training ground.

Extraordinary result by Accy and such a shame they have left it so late, maybe a great escape, either way they have done themselves proud.
