Go on Carlisle - you need to beat Newport if you're really serious about making the play offs.

Scunny - I have always claimed you're possibly the strongest side in L2 this year and I fully expect you to beat Morecambe with ease. Do not let me down.

Barrow - games in hand over your rivals for the drop mean FA and you're not safe yet. But a win today over Exeter and you get to spend another year in L2 next season. Come on you can do it!

Walsall - I bet that win over FGR felt good eh didn't it? Now just imagine how two wins on the spin would feel like. Remember lads, you beat Tranny 3-1 back in December and that win was at their gaff so today should be more comfortable. And they're winless in 5 games too.

Salford - You 'ammies might not know this but I'm sort of a closet Salford fan. Call me a 2CW but I'm a sucker for small clubs achieving success on miniscule playing budgets. I know today's game against big spending Bolton is a real toughie but you can do it. Gary Nev has done wonders for the club and you must repay him with a play off spot.

Good luck all!

We’re not serious about making the playoffs.

But if we were, a point would be a satisfactory result tonight.

6 defenders on the pitch for us tonight, seems remarkably similar to Saturday. I'd be happy with the same result. Would mean Southend need 3 wins from 5 to overhaul us if we weren't to pick up another point all season.

* would mean they need 2 wins and 2 draws not 3 wins - but yeah a point would be an ok result.

A point wouldn't really be satisfactory at all... not in terms of making the playoffs, we absolutely have to win.

Devine in for Tanner, don't know if Tanner is carrying a knock as he came off against Barrow ot just being rested as I figured we'll have to start doing. Other that that, unchanced with Kayode returning to the bench in place of Charters.

Tanner got taken off before he got sent off - the same as Neil Eardley

It’s not a must win game at all. By that logic you’re saying we have to win every single remaining game to make the playoffs. Not the case at all. If we were to draw tonight then win on Saturday, we’d still be in the running.

he got taken off because he was having a poor game. Don’t think he was looking like he was going to be sent off.

Where as because Eardley should have been off, he was probably one little nudge away from a second booking.

The Rodney parade pitch looks about as playable as I've ever seen it. That's a relative assessment, it at least doesn't look like a rally stage was played on it within the last couple of hours.

damn Exeters Yellow and Purple kit us horrendous....

Wore it against us the last couple of seasons... very grim... in fact they nearly always turn up in some luminous horror!

This feels just like the Newport game. We've missed from a yard again and created 4 quality chances. Should be 2 or 3 up here

Nothing has happened yet, but I get the feeling we are just waiting to be beaten.

Newport have this referee in their back pocket. Gives nothing for a crunching tackle on Mellish that took man and ball and you just think, Ok maybe he's gonna be the sort of ref who lets things go, But then gives a succession of innocuous free kicks against us, then books Alessandra for tripping a Newport player up.

Shameful display yet again.

I didn't think we stood a chance with our injuries and Morecambe's position but we don't even seemed arsed.

We could be ahead. McDonald has missed an easy header, don’t know how he put it wide to be honest.

Big missed opportunity here.
