Salford just what we fucking need. Could do with Hursty springing one of his classic surprise wins here. This lot get the rub of the green most of the time against us though, absolute shitbags aren't they?

Yes they are. Can't stand their manager either. Beat them 3-2 at our place, hit the bar, hit the post, had one off the line and he said "They didn't cause us any real problems." Knobhead.

Stockport for us. They took four points off us last season. A 1-0 win at our place and it finished 0-0 at theirs. Seems like a good time to be playing them after what seems like a slow two games? Think it will be a really difficult game. 1-1. Hopefully Cook with his first of the season.

Crawley. It should be a win for us, especially as we are away. I'm more confident with away matches after last season when we were utter shite at home.

What do you pay with to get into Crawleys ground nowadays? Bitcoin?

Newport at home, after two decent draws a win here would be nice, but won't easy after Newports 4-0 today.

Certainly can't afford to go 2-0 down again. Our home form at the back end of last season was very strong, I think we're about 8 or 9 unbeaten at home. Added bit of interest with us having a few ex County players in our side on Demetriou and Baker-Richardson.

Crewe 2-1 Newport (Baker-Richardson, Powell, Wildig) 3, 440 (150 Newport)

Good lad Dem - 300 apps for us and would run through brick walls for the cause. How’s he settled in? Scored v Mansfield …

This seasons L2 looks obviously much harder than last season, after missing out last season on promotion I feared we had missed the boat to get out, but I feel much more comfortable up to now as every set of fixtures that come out for the week have lots of tough to call scraps involved, so lots of teams will possibly slip up now and again above average, allowing other teams to recover from they're fk ups easier.

Accrington away for us and a (slim) chance to go top with a win and Crawley shock win/draw.

Just what I was gonna say, these c*** have our number every time, just what we don’t need after 2 horrific performances on the spin.

Absolute fraud of the football calendar that doncaster is a tuesday night.

Either way, doncaster haven’t scored or got a point which means as is standard when mansfield play such sides we’ll lose.

1-0 doncaster

After 2 draws and with back to back home games against 2 teams not expected to challenge for promotion this season, we really need to be targeting 4 points.

Temptation has to be to start with a 3-5-2, suits us far more than the 4-3-3 personally. Newport feeling confident after 2 wins in their last 2, so tough game. I'd take any sort of scrappy win at this point to be honest.

Rovers v Harrogate. Two FL defeats for new manager Ian Dawes means that the pressure is building. It doesn’t help that he appeared to make some bad calls in selection for both games, which were remedied at half-time. Not quite a must win game, but the potential for things to turn toxic should we lose. Personally feel that Dawes should get more time with the pre-season injuries hampering our preparation, but he does need to decide quickly our best line-up and tactics.

Was surprised Harrogate lost at the weekend. They do have Armstrong making himself available again and are always an awkward opponent. Think it will be a tight match.

Stockport away, we always struggle against teams fighting relegation so just hoping for the best in this one.
Do you have a player capable of slotting away the first chance he's given? If so, the points are yours. The rest of the game will just be your back line practising defending against crosses

One of the cheapest tickets in the league £17 to sit £15 to stand (why do they call the place where you sit "the stand"?) but bitcoin not accepted (and those tokens that were issued are trading at around a penny).

Top of the table clash. Wow!

The last time I saw MK Don's (I think) Deli Ali scored a 95th minute equaliser. The way his career is going you may be able to get him back soon.

Redz bar and The New Moon pub accept away fans so I hope to see some of you there.

I cant see us changing too much from the last two league games so probably the 3421 style again. We need to get Telford scoring to push on a bit. I'm hoping it starts here.

While I would love Dele back but sadly I don't think he'd play for a couple of quid and a curly whirly a week, even for us!

We really need a plan B which Alexander seems to have no idea at the moment. We were all over Tranmere in the first half last game but they changed things completely at half time and we had no answer. A more clinical finisher would have finished us off completely.

Hopefully I will get to Crawley, presuming no train strikes or work to rule. I've never been there.

We owe Walsall for:

A) poaching Dean Keates off us and derailing our season, and

B) sending him back.

Feels like we need a win to get a bit of momentum going.

White Russian: if you're coming by train Crawley is the closest to walk from but you can get a Fastway waste of money* ... sorry bus... from Gatwick Airport, Three Bridges or Crawley train stations (at Gatwick look for the local buses)

* I call it a waste of money as they use bus lanes that other buses can't...hence the roads are narrower and still get clogged by buses. Others may disagree.

I like Crawley away. The stands behind both goals are good for atmosphere. Not the easiest to get to from the stations as Casey says but it's not really that bad if you don't mind a little walk. I came in at Crawley and there are a couple of pubs that you can break the walk up with. It's a friendly club when you get there though, home and away fans able to mingle and it's not really one your dickhead fans are gonna be arsed going to (not in our case anyway).

We outplayed them last season and were somehow only 1-0 up going into the closing ten mins and Dom Telford equalised Infront of their fans which was a very important goal for their survival at the time, pretty wild scenes behind the goal.

Definitely recommend making the effort, WhiteRussian.

Not sure what to expect from Donny, I was expecting a better start from them considering the love-in for the signings and new manager.

Our back line will spend as much time passing to each other as they do defending crosses.

It’s never that simple but if we play as we have done the first 3 games…..

I’d be looking for at least 3 points from doncaster and grimsby away.

I enjoyed my visit to your gaff last season. Cheap journey down and bus to the ground courtesy of a senior Railcard. £10 ticket due to concessions kicking in at 60 not 65 (I'd just turned 60). A very pleasant mingling outside the bar before the match. Allowed out for a cigarette and we won. What's not to like?

It’s little touches like that which i think clubs need to do, never have smoked (nowt against those that do) but like letting folk out at half time, or extra outlets for food and drinks. It almost seemed that clubs for a while were telling the fans what to do and in a way almost like the clubs are doing what they can to get folk in - and by and large with numbers are being awarded.

As others have said, Sodding Salford for us. We'll have to match their 'shithousery' first and foremost, then try and play some football. We rarely get any help from the officials when we play these guys, maybe Tuesday will be the night that all changes.
