I don't like to point out individuals too often . And not to take anything away from the rest of the team. But Elliot Anderson was absolutely outstanding last night after his great performance on saturday. I know its an old cliche but he is far too good for this division and possibly the third as well. He simply oozes class. The way he drifts past players, the powerful shots at goal and his all round football brain are incredible. I now understand what Eddie Howe means. We are so very lucky to have him. Thank you JB.
Luton Town were interested apparently but opted not to sign him on loan. IMO the best loan we have ever had, probably better than Bodin as well and he is a 19YO rookie.
Always asking for the ball, beats multiple players in one run, can pick out a pass from any range, tackles hard, scores goals.....he's got the lot.
Already a superb player, will go very very far

Lewis Warrington is a very gifted player, so we will see who wins the battle of the League Two Messis at Prenton Park in a few weeks. :)

I'm presuming it was just a one off but your keeper seemed rather shaky. Before you had your good spell Charsley should have put us into the lead though it was well blocked.

Got to give credit to Stone as well for the one that ended up coming off the bar. Seen Vale tweet a video of it this morning and turned out Stone actually nudged it onto the bar which didn't spot at the time. Not really a position on the team you want the kind of question marks we've had there but I think Stone has ended the debate this season and it's now his spot.

Aye bishop is class and he’s made some wonderful saves yesterday was a real clanger. There were quite a few set pieces where he was challenged that went unpunished that were punished for the same thing when we went in on stone, maybe it shook him up.

I’m genuinely pleased for aiden, he’s a good lad and he left with the best wishes going hopefully hr goes on to have a good career with you.

Really solid win last night, not sure we played as well as others have said if I’m being honest, we had little pace and zero movement at times but we kept the ball really well and didn’t get out of second gear.
Ridiculously unnecessary agro between the two sets of fans, I was stood not far from the teenager who throw the flare, who in the first half he and his mates were kicking off between themselves and had the stewards over for that, in response rocks were thrown on to/over the roof of the away end, one ended up on the pitch in front of me, on the way out in the leisure centre car park (great advice for parking btw), I watched someone try running a bloke over in his car.
Other than that, a good night, Mark Hughes - hero.

Apart from a 15 minute spell second half where Mansfield had a bit of the ball but didn't really create anything, I felt that vale worked harder and were the better side.

Lapslie always looks like a good player and tends to look forwards rather than sideways or backwards. Gives a bit of drive. As has been mentioned, the keeper should be easily saving our first.. ..it wasn't going quickly or in the corner.

Thought Benning did well when he came on and it wrestled the initiative back in our favour.

It looks like some teams have busted their load a little early and we're hopefully coming to the boil at the right time, with key forwards back fit.

Yeah good pre game discussion about Mansfield and Exeter on the Podcast and had they "peaked" too early. Time will tell of course! I guess if we make the play offs it would be because we finish the season in great form so would fancy it... so many variables though and an exciting run in!

We weren’t and aren’t going up, so it’s a non starter.

Would you not rather have a couple of feisty derby games than playing the likes of Stevenage, assuming you don't get promoted?

I’d rather play boreham wood, leave the bastards down there for a season or 2 longer, they were happy enough when we went down so only right they serve longer in the pit of misery than us
