There’s plenty of time yet, you’re 4 games in.

As it was, many said at the time it was a curious appointment given that he’d know nothing about league 2

Nah. Sorry Adam, but this team and manager are subpar. Colchester missing half their team and we didn't trouble their 'keeper. Midtable again I'm afraid.

Played Walsall off the park first-half, and Flynn was forced into a double substitution on 40 mins because Walsall couldn't even get a foot on the ball. The only negative was Farman handing them a goal back on a plate because it should've been the easiest win all season. Instead it hinged on Peter Clarke driving a shot wide with the last kick of the game.

We're an absolute joy to watch at the moment, and the strength in depth is something we've never had before. But most of all, the work rate is on another level compared to under previous managers. If we can finally beat our bogey team Harrogate on Saturday, I might start to get a bit excited.

10 points from 4 games from barrow is a cracking effort, no offence but you’re usually bobbing along at a point a game, so well (again with respect) the first aim is 50 points to get that down to 40 from 42 games is remarkable effort.

Obviously you might go on and do much more, but it’s a good effort.

Match of very little quality I thought, point was fair, Tranmere knock it around well enough but their decision making was abysmal, we wasted a one on one in the first half which he should've buried.

Umerah is a machine, really impressed with him so far but he's desperate for some help, there's never a blue and white shirt anywhere near him, no clue what our first half formation was, looked like we were playing wing backs with a pair wingers and a isolated front man?

Not sure what I feel about our loss at home to Northampton. It was, by far, the best we've played this season but...

First minute goal by Balagizi (his first in the league) and we started pressing up top and looking good but Northampton are a decent side and we're bound to come back into it. Trouble is we let them. Fart arse around at the back, put one of our forwards on the right wing, ask the other to play as a false nine and Northampton started to boss the game. First goal was a poor clearance from a long throw, second was a good strike from a free kick...not sure it should have been given but it wouldn't have happened if we were still putting on pressure further up the field.

Odd tactics. We had our two centre midfielders drop to the edge of the box when farting around at the back then kick the ball long so the Northampton backs head it into midfield where none of our players are.

Played a lot better in the second half, got a goal and had 2 one on ones with the keeper which I could have saved and hit with a sucker punch at the end.

Northampton are a good side and will right up there barring injuries and such. We are going to struggle. Betsy ball is bollocks and bad tactics and bad luck are not a good combination.

Smile of the game. Our centre back tackling long throws. Not one was legit and the first one in the second half he had both feet in the air!

Apparently we were wank in the first twenty but I missed most of that due to standing in the pouring rain in a massive queue trying to get in. Got to see 5 Mansfield goals and Wimbledon players lose their heads which made up for it.

Another late goal for us, fortunate to beat Crawley who looked threatening. Nadesan caused us all sorts of problem, fortunately he didnt have his shooting boots on as he missed a couple of one on ones.

Our manager Jon Brady even said the same, Crawley deserved something out the game. Passed it aroun well and created a lot of chances. Think they can be pressed into mistakes but think they will be ok to be honest. I liked our midfield 3 and a special mention for Sam Hoskins who scored 2 and assisted 1. He just made his 300th appearance for us, making him in our top 15 all time appearance makers and top 20 scorers of all time.

Another great result. Been a sad few days for all around the club as our goalkeeping coach just lost his wife which is obviously horrendous, hope everyone can rally around him.

We need to sort this ASAP, will be aiming to be in the ground for half 2 saturday and have a beer inside.

Proper jekyll and hyde that, watched in ifollow and the first 15 were well up there with the worst i’ve seen in some time.

Thought the penalty was soft, but after saturday we deserved it and the goals.

Still annoying as realistically we should be on 9 or 10.

Before the penalty the referee would not give us anything, it looked a foul but Lapslie was offside to me. Need to rewatch.

They tried to get Oates sent off at one point but the player just got himself a yellow!

There's nowt comfortable about watching Pools mate.

If we go for Cook up top and try to play football then we're in with a chance. If he goes for Oliver up top I'd expect you to get your first win. Really deflated with this team and we're four games in. Keep getting reeled in by our fat wanker of a CEO always spouting off and guaranteeing promotion.

Our best performance of the season with Sol Brynn MOTM in goal for Swindon.

Both sides scored with their first attacks of the game. I thought first half we let Swindon off the hook, we can be wasteful at times.

Swindon not the team they was last season, looked very ropey at the back. But still have very useful players for this level, McKirdy was a constant threat all game. But I can’t see them being anywhere near the top end of the league, but they did rally towards the end of the game.

Should of won tonight, lucky to win on Saturday so the luck eventually evens itself out. If we can keep tonight’s high levels up and punish teams more then we can be near the top 7.

Looked close to me on ifollow.

Think wimbledon couldn’t hack the physicality and pace we played at, can often be an issue for a side coming down not being used to being a bit more rough and tumble

Last minute winner for us at Crawley. We’re not boring this year that’s for sure. Crawley looked very good second half, a draw was fair I think but not complain

Very frustrating result for us, we really needed that to kickstart our season and I worry for the teams confidence. First half was very much won by you after our well taken early goal, you pressed us into submission and won almost every second ball, we couldn’t settle into our possession game and nothing was really flowing. You’ve got to be one of the biggest sides in the division, your players looked massive against all of ours.
Second half was a different story, we came out with increased energy whilst you guys gave us more time on the ball which is exactly what we like and we bossed it really. Nadesan has to be the most frustrating footballer I’ve ever seen, gifted with pace and movement but the lad couldn’t even finish his dinner, glad he unselfishly laid it off for the equaliser. The winner was completely against the run of play after we inexcusably gave the ball away. Draw would have been a fair result but it’s a hard one to accept.

Really pleased with the three points tonight considering we always drop points to Harrogate. If there is anything we need to sort out it's just the odd error at the back.

Can't argue with the result, you had the best chances of the game, while it was telling that Rovers tested your keeper most with a couple of efforts from midfielders in McAlear and Hawkes. Thought McDonald was your best player, particularly in the first half.

Yet another game where we should have been handed our arses on a plate. Reed - just fuck off.
You are a fucking idiot mate. Reed had his best game of the season and we were marginally the better side in the second half. Still I’m sure you would have made all of the right substitutions from the side of your tv

I think our centre backs have been brilliant so far - Canavan my man of the match in every game I've seen. It's only really Farman that has been making mistakes, but some crucial saves as well.

Not sure about you, but I reckon Gotts has been the only player who hasn't really done a lot this season.

That's totally fair, and any Barrow fan I've talked to has only mentioned staying up comfortably as the aim. If we're clear of the bottom 4 or 5 by March then I'd be happy.

1-1 at Swindon with their keeper MotM. Believe I’m now supposed to have a bitter temper tantrum about it?
To be fair your side played really well and on their first half performance deserved all 3 points. We however dug in and got a deserved point. Home games to Salford and LO have produced two draws which, despite reaching the playoffs, we would have lost last season. LO look strong bets for a top 3 spot on that performance. Despite the fact that we have had some appalling officials over the last 18 months, none more so than our last home game, todays referee was excellent

Good side Orient.

We are very disjointed still. My first game tonight and feel we are miles off however we do have some decent players - Rochdale at home Saturday needs to be a win or the natives will become restless, which I don't agree with when you've had to rebuild the squad again, but that's the way is.

Just seems to bypass him a lot. Decent when he gets the ball, just doesn't seem to see that much of it.

Barrow very deserving of the win. Since Hartlepool we have just lumped it and haven't had it on the deck at all, awful.
We dont have the players to make it stick upfront playing that way if thats what we must do then he needs to sign a target man to play with Johnson.

Any insight from anyone as to why Doncaster are 3/1 against Stockport tonight?

It’s an odd one, given the result, though the red has shaped the game.

we’re 11/8 at home to stockport, which is far higher than against tranmere or wimbledon who i’d class as better sides.

Maybe they’re going on the back of them beating the crown & anchor every other week down in the bananarama, the bookies know sod all at this level,
