Unfortunately with recent success we've attracted a few younger nobheads that seem to be intent on causing trouble. Safe to say it doesn't reflect the views of the other 99% of us and we are all pretty sick of it. Hopefully they'll have an idea of who it is and they'll never step foot in our ground again. The actions of one or two giving the rest of us a bad reputation as always.

Saw a gobby 15 year old Barrow fan get headbutted last year after the last game of last season, amongst other scuffles. Was surprised that Barrow had a group like that.

Yeah, like mentioned it's just a group we picked up over the last couple of seasons. They would occasionally come in the National League when we played someone who'd bring a decent following.

Why? Barrows a dive, always going to attract morons, especially as they have started well this season.

I’m absolutely shitting myself you absolute fanny.

You were the only home ground in the football league to have to call off their match last night, I'd just be so embarrassed if I were a Grimsby fan right now.

Behave he thrust his hand out and the follow through hit Rowe under the chin, it’s irrelevant how hard it was, your player had a brain fart and paid the price, maybe you’ve bought too much into the pre season hype because even with 11 on the pitch you wasn’t as good as Sutton
Loads of neutrals on here have said it’s not a sending off and none have agreed with you.

I’ve not bought into anything.

Went on my own last night and a group of 16-18 year olds surrounded themselves around where I was standing. A couple in front me, 3 or 4 behind and a couple more to my right. I was sat (stood) on an aisle seat and was too stubborn to move so they could all be together. Throughout they were showing pictures of different girls to each other on their phones and disappearing in pairs to do lines of smack in the toilets.

Clearly high as fuck by the second half one of them is egged on to start chatting to a random bloke near where I was stood, annoying him and generally talking bollocks to piss him off. Eventually he fucked off to stand somewhere else.

Then I made eye contact with one of the little weasels and stared into his soul. Have a feeling I would have been next if I wasn't 6'1" with a brilliant resting bitch face.

Morale of the story; every club attracts a minority of shitwankers! Last time I go in the Town End for a while though. Forgot how many loudmouth bellends occupy it. "kick it forwards!!" they shout. Then jeer every misplaced forward pass.

I mean, I wasn’t embarrassed before but after somebody as highly respected as you tells me I should be then maybe I need to have a rethink.

Didn't some of them they jeer Sol Brynn during his warm up before our first home game of the season as their belief was that Ward should be playing in net? To be fair to Brynn he's now picked up 2 man of the match awards so perhaps the criticism has spurred him on!

Not exactly rained much before though has it?

Bad drainage problems at Mansfield in the past but after quite a lot of investment it’s looking like that’s gone now, so if it is indeed bad drainage it’s probably going to cost a whack to sort out.
Pissed it down from about 3pm I think? Mad weather though, 25 or so miles up the coast where my parents live wasn't that bad at all apparently. Perhaps it's possible that the ground was too hard, been in the news a lot that this has caused flooding this week. If that's the case maybe we put the sprinklers on too late?

You were the only home ground in the football league to have to call off their match last night, I'd just be so embarrassed if I were a Grimsby fan right now.
It is indeed a complete surprise and dare I say a bit of a mystery that the place in the country that had the heaviest rain on Tuesday was also the only place that had a match called off. I wonder if there could be some kind of correlation between these two factors?

Unfortunately your right.
The team that was relegated had much better players than this one.
The only thing that might save us,is that PH seems to have instilled a backbone into them.

Didn’t that other tin pot club on top of a hill in League One get their game postponed on Tuesday night due to a waterlogged pitch.

Had a chance to rewatch, Lapslie was onside, definitely a penalty too.

Referee even got the sending off right, and the Wimbledon manager moaning about Quinn going down ‘like he’s been shot’ is ironic because one of his own did the same thing with Oates on the touch line from a push on the back. Quinn was probably a tad lucky, but from a video vlog on YouTube I’m not sure if he kicked it at the player on purpose on not, but if he did you could say he got away with it.

The ball was definitely kicked at Gunther - even your commentators agreed that. But we didn't lose because we had a red and you didn't - we were already in meltdown by then.

Looks like our "experience" at the back isn't quite what it was cracked up to be. Gunther is an international who has hundreds of appearances yet he reacts like that. He's meant to be a model for the youngsters - in which case stay down and wait for whoever did it to get a yellow or a red. The only thing more embarrassing than that was Lee Brown's attempt to pretend he was pushed a few minutes later, which only earned himself a yellow card.

We looked decent for 20 minutes, by which time you realised that our deep formation gave you time to pass round us with Bowery parked on the wing for the switch. You did it very well, but I'm seriously worried about the way Jackson is setting us up. The formation switch at half time to go even deeper made it even worse by removing any threat we had.

Hartigan showed exactly what he can do when he came on, and why I'd have happily kept him despite his scapegoat status, but don't expect that accuracy and consistency when there's a midfield scrap going on.

Yeah cannot disagree with any of that, I think Quinn did likely do it on purpose because it’s definitely something he would do, he’s a tad mardy to say the least.

The way you set up in the second half basically confined you in your own half for the rest of the game, and it did feel like before the red we were likely to go on to win, it probably made the scoreline bigger.

I think that’s why he’d work well with boateng, but we’re very strong in midfield so he’d need to be on it to start.

I thought the red was a bit of a farce tbh, for me it should have been both got a yellow or a red, and you were hard done to IMO.

I was impressed how we changed early in the first half which came off. decent numbers for a tuesday night from you.

Gunter's red card has now been rescinded for 'wrongful dismissal'. Which is surprising to say the least. Surprised we even appealed it. Maybe the ref acknowledged it should have been both players or neither. Doesn't make up for playing a half with only 10 men but pretty sure we were going to lose it by then anyway.

If that would have been mansfield we’d have got an extra game ban for appealing.

I kinda get it though, thought the ref was poor all round tbh.

My initial reaction was disbelief at that red card being overturned, purely because I know we have appealed much stronger cases and they threw it out. But inconsistency is the backbone of the FA and officials so expected really.

My son and I have received our £10:00 refund from Mariners TV, hope all the Carlisle supporters who paid to watch have also got theirs back too, I am sure they have.

Watched the Wimbledon sending off and personally I would have switched it around. Kicking a ball at someone on the ground like that is cheap and cowardly.

I am more concerned to hear Wimbledon play deep and don't attack. Today could be a borefest. This could be a deepest sleep since I mistook ramalteon for a rolo!
