Going well for us at the moment with FGR and Cambridge losing, Exeter drawing and Newport and Cheltenham level. Newport would still go above us with a point but think I'd rather those two draw.

1-1 right on half time, not watching but based on Twitter commentary/stats it's the least we deserve.

Equaliser was coming and deserve to be level at very least. Cheltnum better side so far. We need some creativity in midfield with Twine, Devitt and Sheehan not playing.

I know he's only 18 or 19 but that's a few schoolboy errors from Griffiths this season now, Flinders needs to come back in goal asap. Not good enough.
He's injured, but I agree. So many howlers from Griffiths this season.

keep it up Cambridge.... and get your finger out Exeter!
We’re far from convincing. Game not ours yet, we definitely need another goal.

More shambolic defending. Commentary is a mess too, couple of blokes on their phones.

Take a point - poor game. Fair result in the end.

I mean it’s a great win and we deserved the 3 points. But Christ that was nervy at the end!

We have two more home games with Bolton and Harrogate visiting in the next 7 days and if we can pick up 6 points then weirdly, we’re back in the playoff hunt.

Now that Carlisle have lost top spot will HG go all depressed and start predicting relegation again?

Questionable quality, but an entertaining game on the balance of things. FGR showed flashes of how they can play, but were below par for the most part. We did enough to win without being outstanding. Not really one to remember, despite the interesting looking scoreline!

At the very least I hope Devon lad pops up to give the Cambridge fans as much shit as he gave us about 'only being top because other teams games were postponed'

Fair result in the end, awful conditions. One of the worst displays from a ref i've seen though, Walsall should have had a blatant pen and we probably should have had one as well. A lot of bizarre decisions tonight.

That felt like a big win. We were terrible and got away with one but to come out second half and get the +3 is a sign of a team that never gives up.

Southend run out of steam after pressing up very well in the first half but with the wind we were always going to get on top. Southend will be fine and stay up but I am very very happy with this one as we all know Southend bottled the game in November. My eyes are dry now.

Results still went well from our perspective, though they were even better at half time. Not sure if we can still drop out of the playoff places before we play again but only one game left to miss and we're still in the automatics

Really? I thought we had some nice patterns of play and did really well. The team move for the second goal was brilliant.
